Product Description

Sahib Quizalo is a selective post-emergence herbicide that effectively controls a broad spectrum of annual and perennial grasses in soybean crops. It contains 40% quizalofop-p-ethyl as its active ingredient and is an emulsifiable concentrate (EC) formulation. It is easy to mix with water and can be applied to soybean crops as a foliar spray.

Mode of Action

Sahib Quizalo is absorbed by the leaves and stems of treated weeds and disrupts the plant's acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACCase) enzyme. This enzyme is responsible for the synthesis of fatty acids, which are essential for plant growth. The disruption of ACCase leads to the accumulation of fatty acid precursors, which are toxic to the plant. This ultimately leads to the death of the treated weeds.

Application Instructions

Sahib Quizalo should be applied as a foliar spray to actively growing grasses. The amount of herbicide that you need to use will depend on the type of grasses you are targeting, the severity of the grass infestation, and the growth stage of your soybean crop.

It is recommended to apply Sahib Quizalo 20-30 days after soybean emergence (DAE). For heavy grass infestations, a second application may be necessary 3-4 weeks after the initial application.
