General Information:

Valor 32 is a pre-emergence herbicide for soybeans with Pendimethalin and Imazethapyr as the active ingredients. It is a broad-spectrum herbicide that controls a wide range of annual grasses and broadleaf weeds.

Mode of Action:

Pendimethalin is a residual herbicide that inhibits cell division in the roots and shoots of weeds. Imazethapyr is a systemic herbicide that inhibits the production of essential amino acids in plants.

Application:

Valor 32 should be applied pre-emergence to soybeans before weeds have emerged. It can be applied broadcast or in a band over the top of the soybeans.

Target Weeds:

Valor 32 controls a wide range of annual grasses and broadleaf weeds, including:

• Grasses: Barnyardgrass, crabgrass, foxtail, goosegrass, Johnson grass, panicum, ryegrass, shattercane
• Broadleaf weeds: Amaranth, black nightshade, cocklebur, common ragweed, lambsquarters, morningglory, pigweed, purslane, sicklepod, velvetleaf

Precautions:

• Valor 32 is not for use on soybeans that are planted for seed.
• Do not apply Valor 32 to soybeans that are under stress from drought, heat, or other environmental factors.
• Do not apply Valor 32 within 7 days of planting soybeans.
• Avoid applying Valor 32 to soybeans that are flooded or waterlogged.
• Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling and applying Valor 32.

Additional Information:

Valor 32 is a low-volatility herbicide, which means that it is less likely to drift off target than other herbicides. It is also rainfast within 1-2 hours of application.
