Active Ingredients

METAMORPH contains two active ingredients:

• Boscalid: Boscalid is a carboxamide fungicide that inhibits succinate dehydrogenase (SDH), a crucial enzyme in fungal respiration. This disruption leads to energy deprivation and cell death in fungal cells. Boscalid is absorbed by the plant's roots and leaves, providing both preventive and curative control of fungal diseases.

• Pyraclostrobin: Pyraclostrobin is a strobilurin fungicide that inhibits mitochondrial respiration in fungal cells, disrupting energy production and leading to their death. Pyraclostrobin is also absorbed by the plant's roots and leaves, providing both preventive and curative control of fungal diseases.

Mode of Action

METAMORPH acts as a combination of preventive, curative, and long-lasting residual fungicide. Upon application to the soil or plant foliage, boscalid and pyraclostrobin are absorbed by the plant and translocated throughout the plant tissues, providing protection against a wide range of fungal diseases. Additionally, METAMORPH can directly contact and inhibit fungal spores, hyphae, and mycelium, preventing them from establishing infections.

Application Methods

METAMORPH can be applied using various methods, including:

• Foliar spraying: This involves spraying the fungicide directly onto the foliage of the plants to protect them from fungal infections.

• Soil drenching: This method involves applying the fungicide to the soil around the base of the plant, targeting soil-borne fungal pathogens.

• Seed treatment: Treat seeds with the fungicide before planting to protect seedlings from early-season fungal diseases.

• Chemigation: METAMORPH can also be applied through chemigation systems, providing even distribution of the fungicide throughout the crop field.

Application Rates

The application rate of METAMORPH varies depending on the target fungal disease, crop type, severity of the infection, and application method.
