Siwar herbicide is a selective, systemic herbicide containing 10% imazethapyr as the active ingredient. It is a post-emergence herbicide for the control of a wide range of annual and perennial broadleaf weeds in crops such as maize, sugarcane, and soybean.

Imazethapyr is a triazolopyrimidine herbicide that inhibits the production of amino acids in susceptible weeds. It is absorbed by the leaves and roots of weeds and translocated throughout the plant. Imazethapyr is most effective when applied to young, actively growing weeds.

Siwar herbicide is effective against a wide range of weeds, including:

  • Annual broadleaf weeds: ragweed (Ambrosia spp.), morning glory (Ipomoea spp.), lambsquarters (Chenopodium album), and pigweed (Amaranthus spp.)
  • Perennial broadleaf weeds: Canada thistle (Cirsium arvense), horsetail (Equisetum spp.), and kudzu (Pueraria montana var. lobata)

Siwar herbicide should be applied to actively growing weeds. It can be applied by broadcast or spot application. The recommended application rate is 0.25 to 0.5 kg/ha.

Siwar herbicide is generally safe for use on maize, sugarcane, and soybean, but it is important to follow the label directions carefully to avoid crop injury.

Benefits of using Siwar herbicide:

  • Broad-spectrum weed control
  • Effective against a wide range of annual and perennial broadleaf weeds
  • Post-emergence application, which allows for targeted weed control
  • Low application rates
  • Generally safe for use on maize, sugarcane, and soybean

Instructions for use:

  1. Apply Siwar herbicide to actively growing weeds.
  2. Apply Siwar herbicide by broadcast or spot application.
  3. The recommended application rate is 0.25 to 0.5 kg/ha.
  4. Follow the label directions carefully to avoid crop injury.
