Product Overview
SYODIA (AZOXYSTROBIN 11% + TEBUCONAZOLE 18.3% SC) is a broad-spectrum systemic fungicide with preventive, curative, and eradicative activity. It effectively controls a wide range of fungal diseases in various crops, including rice, cotton, maize, sugarcane, vegetables, and fruits.
Key Features
- Broad-spectrum fungicide
- Systemic action
- Preventive, curative, and eradicative activity
- Effective in a wide range of crops
Mode of Action
SYODIA is a combination of two fungicides with different modes of action:
-
Azoxystrobin: A quinone outside inhibitor that disrupts mitochondrial respiration, the process by which fungi generate energy. This leads to the disruption of fungal growth and reproduction.
-
Tebuconazole: A sterol biosynthesis inhibitor that disrupts the production of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes. This leads to the leakage of cell contents and the death of the fungus.
Application and Usage
SYODIA can be applied as a foliar spray or soil drench.
Foliar spray: Apply SYODIA as a foliar spray at a rate of 0.5 to 1.0 liter per hectare. Repeat applications at intervals of 7 to 10 days, as needed.
Soil drench: Apply SYODIA as a soil drench at a rate of 1.0 to 1.5 liters per hectare. Irrigate the field after application to ensure adequate penetration of the fungicide into the soil.
Precautions and Safety
SYODIA is moderately toxic to humans and animals. Wear protective clothing, including gloves, goggles, and a respirator, when mixing and applying the fungicide. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Do not apply SYODIA near water sources or in areas where it may contaminate crops or desirable vegetation.
Storage and Disposal
Store SYODIA in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area away from heat and direct sunlight. Keep the container tightly sealed when not in use. Dispose of unused fungicide and contaminated packaging according to local regulations.
