GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
DuPont Acanto® fungicide is a broad spectrum fungicide from the strobilurin group with systemic, translaminar, vapour activity, protectant and early curative properties. It is rainfast in 2 hours. DuPont Acanto® fungicide is best used as a protective treatment during early crop development. It enhances green leaf area retention and will generally provide about 4 to 6 weeks disease control. DuPont Acanto® fungicide should not affect beneficial species including Parasitic Wasps, Hover Flies, Lacewings and Honeybees.

RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT
Disease control may be reduced if strains of pathogens less sensitive to DuPont Acanto® fungicide and related strobilurin products develop. To minimise this risk use strictly in accordance with the label instructions. Use a maximum of two applications of DuPont Acanto® fungicide or any other strobilurin fungicide per crop per season. Always apply in a mixture with a fungicide from a different chemical group.

MIXING
Half-fill the spray tank with clean water and start agitation. Shake the closed DuPont Acanto® fungicide container. Whilst filling the remainder of the spray tank add the required amount of DuPont Acanto® fungicide, adding any tank mix products last. Maintain agitation until spraying is complete. DO NOT leave the spray mix in the sprayer for long periods such a meal breaks or overnight.

COMPATIBILITY
DuPont Acanto® fungicide is compatible with most commonly used insecticides and fungicides. Before using any tank mixture, consult and comply with the recommendations of the partner product. Each product should be added separately to the bulk of the water in the spray tank whilst filling and agitator working.

APPLICATION
Use 200 litres/ha of water by ground. Use higher water volumes 250 to 300 litres/ha in dense or advanced crops. Use not less than 50 litres/ha for aerial application. As there are many factors involved in aerial application, for optimum results, contact your local DuPont representative for detailed information. Uniform coverage is essential for best results. Wetting agent additives are not normally required when using DuPont Acanto® fungicide.
