GENERAL INFORMATION
Cereous is a systemic fungicide for the control of stripe rust, leaf rust, powdery mildew and speckled leaf blotch in wheat, scald and leaf rust in barley, crown rust in oats, rusts in ryegrass seed crops, powdery mildew in peas and white rot in onions. Cereous has contact and systemic action. Absorbed by the leaves and stems and translocated in an upward and outward movement in the plant to provide some protection to new growth.
BARLEY
Disease: Scald and Leaf rust
Use: 500 ml/ha at first appearance of the disease.
OATS
Disease: Crown rust
Use: 500 ml/ha on first appearance of disease. Should disease pressure persist, a further application may be required 3 - 4 weeks later.
ONIONS
Disease: White rot
Use: 1.5 L in 1000 L water/ha. First application should be 6 - 8 weeks after sowing and followed with two further applications at 3 - 4 week intervals.
PEAS
Disease: Powdery mildew
Use: 250 ml/ha and apply preventatively at flowering or first sign of disease. A second application may be required fourteen days later.
RYEGRASS SEED CROPS
Disease: Rust
Use: 500 ml/ha on first appearance of disease. Should disease pressure persist, a further application may be required 3 - 4 weeks later.
WHEAT
Disease: Stripe Rust, Leaf Rust, Powdery Mildew, Speckled Leaf Blotch
