A protectant fungicide for the control of Blackspot, Powdery Mildew and Dry Eye Rot (Botrytis spp) in Apples and Blackspot in Pears, and Blossom Blight in Apricots, Peaches and Nectarines.

GENERAL INFORMATION
CHORUS is an anilinopyrimidine fungicide with protective and limited curative activity for early season control of Blackspot. CHORUS also has protective activity against Powdery Mildew and Dry Eye Rot (Botrytis spp) in apples and Blossom Blight (Monolinia spp) in apricots, peaches and nectarines. CHORUS rapidly enters the leaf and is rainfast within 2 hours of application. It is translaminar and can act curatively within 48 hours of a Blackspot infection (Mills period) occurring. CHORUS inhibits both penetration of the spore germ tube and mycelial growth within the leaf. CHORUS is compatible with IMC programmes based on Typhlodromus pyri.

RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT
Resistance to this fungicide and related anilinopyrimidine products could develop in some situations from repeated use. To minimise this risk use strictly in accordance with the label instructions. DO NOT use more than 4 applications of CHORUS or any other anilinopyrimidine fungicide on the same crop during the season.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
For high volume spraying apply CHORUS as a dilute spray ensuring complete coverage without excessive run-off. For concentrate spraying adjust dilution rate accordingly. It is an offence to use this product on animals

APPLES, PEARS
Disease: Blackspot
Rate: 30 g/100 litres of water as a dilute spray
Critical comments: CHORUS is best applied in a schedule of consecutive sprays as a protectant fungicide, with a maximum of 4 applications at 7 to 10 day intervals from tight cluster to 90% petal fall. The 7 day interval is recommended when conditions conducive to severe Blackspot infection occur and during periods of rapid tree growth. If the interval exceeds 10 days the addition of a DMI product e.g. SCORE 10 WG is required, used according to label recommendations. If any other protectant fungicide follows a CHORUS application, it should be applied no later than 7 days after the last CHORUS spray

Disease: Powdery Mildew
Rate: 30 g/100 litres of water as a dilute spray
Critical comments: When CHORUS is applied on a 7 to 10 day schedule as a protectant fungicide for Blackspot control, CHORUS will give some protectant activity against Powdery Mildew. Where there is evidence of primary mildew infection present over the open cluster to pink period, the application of an approved powdery mildewicide with good curative activity is necessary.

Disease: Dry Eye Rot (Botrytis spp)
Rate: 30 g/100 litres of water as a dilute spray
Critical comments: Apply during the blossom period only, when weather conditions are conducive to infection.

APPRICOTS, PEACHES, NECTARINES
Disease: Blossom Blight
Rate: 30g/100 litres of water as a dilute spray
Critical comments: Make the first application of CHORUS at early pink and repeat at 7 to 10 day intervals with a maximum of 4 applications. The 7 day interval is recommended when conditions conducive to severe Blossom Blight infection occur and during periods of rapid tree growth. Use alternative fungicides for the remainder of the season. Note: DO NOT apply CHORUS to cherries as phytotoxicity can occur.

MIXING
Add the required amount of CHORUS into the spray tank filled to one-sixth of its capacity. Under agitation add the remainder of the water ensuring complete mixing before spraying. Continue agitation during spraying and after a stoppage before recommencing spraying.

COMPATIBILITY
CHORUS is compatible with most of the commonly used insecticides and fungicides, except oil and strongly alkaline materials such as Bordeaux mixture and lime sulphur.

WITHHOLDING PERIODS
It is an offence for users of this product to cause residues exceeding the relevant MRL in the New Zealand (Maximum Residue Limit of Agricultural Compounds) Food Standards.
