For the selective post emergence control of Annual and Perennial Grasses in a wide range of broadleaf crops, including Orchards, Forestry and Ornamentals.

GENERAL INFORMATION
FUSILADE FORTE is a highly active systemic herbicide which selectively controls many annual and perennial grass weeds in most broadleaf crops. FUSILADE FORTE can be safely applied over the top of a wide range of broadleaf crops, trees and ornamentals. FUSILADE FORTE is absorbed mainly through leaves and is recommended for use after crop and weed emergence. FUSILADE FORTE will not control broadleaf weeds.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

ASPARAGUS, BEANS, CAPSUCUMS, CARROTS, CUCURBITS, KAMARAS, LUCERNE, ONIONS, PEAS, POTATOES, TOMATOES, VEGETABLE BRASSICAS, FODDER BRASSICAS
Weeds Controlled: Annual grasses and Perennial grass regrowth
Rate: Refer to the "Grass Weed Susceptibility" Table
Critical Comments: Asparagus: Apply after the final pick. DO NOT apply during the cutting season.
Optimal control will be obtained by treating annual grasses at the seedling stage and perennial regrowths at the 4 to 5 leaf stage.

FORESTRY TREE RELEASE: RADIATA PINE, DOUGLAS FIR, EUCALYPTUS SPECIES (E. delegatensis, fastigata and saligna)
Weeds Controlled: Release of trees from grasses
Rate: Refer to the "Grass Weed Susceptibility" Table. For spot (knapsack) application use 0.25 to 0.35 mL FUSILADE FORTE per 20 mL of water per square metre. This is equivalent to 125 to 165 mL per 10 litres of water. Treat approximately 2 square metres around each tree.
Critical Comments: Use the high rates for control of rank, dense or seeding grasses. Apply at the rate recommended for the stage of development of the grass weeds present.

Weeds Controlled: Grasses controlled by applying mixtures of FUSILADE FORTE and Gardoprim 500 FW. Crested Dogstail, Sweet Vernal, Timothy, Fine Leaf Fescues, Perennial Ryegrass, Browntop, Cocksfoot, Yorkshire Fog
Rate: 2.5 to 3.35 litres/ha of FUSILADE FORTE in tank mixture with 15 to 20 litres Gardoprim 500 FW
Critical Comments: Use the high rates for control of rank, dense or seeding grasses. Refer to the Gardoprim 500 FW label for more information.

FRUIT CROPS (BERRYFRUIT, GRAPEVINES, KIWIFRUIT, PIPFRUIT, STONEFRUIT)
Weeds Controlled: Annual Seedling Grasses and Perennial Grass regrowth
Rate: Refer to "Grass Weed Susceptibility Table”
Critical Comments: Non-bearing fruit crops:May be applied safely over the crop (see Caution below).Bearing fruit crops: Should be applied as a directed spray to avoid contact with the fruit. Caution: Application should NOT be made over fruit crops under conditions of high temperature (25°C) and high light intensity as minor leaf scorch may occur on sensitive species such as peaches.

ORNAMENTALS (SEEDLING AND ESTABLISHED), SHELTER TREES, PINE AND EUCALYPTUS SPECIES
Weeds Controlled: Annual Seedling Grasses and Perennial Grass regrowth
Rate: Refer to "Grass Weed Susceptibility Table”
Critical Comments: May be used safely over the top of a wide range of ornamentals and shelter trees - including flax, bulbs and cabbage trees. DO NOT apply FUSILADE FORTE to pampas grass, bamboo and other ornamental grasses and tussocks.
Caution: Application should NOT be made over ornamentals under conditions of high temperature (25°C) and high light intensity as minor leaf scorch may occur on sensitive species.

WHITE CLOVER SEED CROPS
Weeds Controlled: Annual Grasses and Perennial Grass regrowth
Rate: Refer to “Grass Weed Susceptibility Table”
Critical Comments: Apply in mid October after closing up. Remove stock and allow the grass to freshen up with 5 to 7 cm of new leaf, before making treatment. MCPB can be tank-mixed with FUSILADE FORTE for broadleaf weed control.

Use the higher rate for tall or dense grass weed infestation. Spot Treatment: For handgun or knapsack, mix 250 mL of FUSILADE FORTE in 100 litres of water (or 25 mL per 10 litres of spray mix) and spray to thoroughly wet grasses.
