For the control of Mites on Avocados, Pip fruit, indoor Tomatoes, Strawberries and Ornamentals, Leafrollers on Kiwifruit and Tomato- Potato Psyllid on Potatoes.

GENERAL INFORMATION
INVERT EW is not systemic, therefore thorough coverage is essential. After application, INVERT EW quickly moves into young leaves from where it is taken up by the feeding Leafrollers, Mites and TomatoPotato Psyllid. INVERT EW takes about 7 days to achieve maximum control. Note: DO NOT apply if rainfall is expected before spray would have dried, as reduced efficacy may result. DO NOT overhead irrigate within 24 hours after application. Crop monitoring: For effective Mite control, regularly monitor crops every 3 to 5 days during the season. For effective Leafroller and Tomato-Potato Psyllid control, regularly monitor crops during the season.

RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT
Intensive use of INVERT EW could result in the development of resistant strains of mites and insects. To minimise this risk, use INVERT EW strictly in accordance with label directions. When used for the control of Mites it is recommended to alternate the use of INVERT EW with products from other chemical groups. INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT INVERT EW is compatible with IPM programmes using the predator mites Typhlodromus pyri, Phytoseiulus persimilis and T.occidentalis (although INVERT EW may suppress numbers temporarily).

ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION
DO NOT apply when weather conditions favour drift from the target area. Toxic to fish and other waterborne organisms. When INVERT EW comes into contact with soil it readily and tightly binds to the soil and becomes inactive. INVERT EW that is not absorbed into plants is quickly degraded.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
The rates suggested are for high volume spraying to run off. For concentrate spraying adjust dilution rate accordingly.
It is an offence to use this Product on animals.

APPLES, PEARS
Pest: European Red Mite, Twospotted Mite
Rates: 37.5 mL plus 500 mL allpurpose spraying oil/100 litres of water. Alternatively, mix with a non-ionic surfactant at label rates. Apply a minimum of 2000 litres of spray mixture/sprayed hectare. Note: DO NOT exceed 1.5 litres INVERT EW or 10 litres of spraying oil per hectare.
Critical Comments: Apply a minimum of 2000 litres of spray mixture/sprayed hectare. For optimum residual control, apply before there is a build up of Mite populations in the period from petal fall to midDecember. Make only 1 application per season. Crop Safety: All purpose spraying oils may cause damage to sensitive varieties such as Cox's Orange, Gala and Anjou pears. DO NOT use all purpose spraying oil within 21 days before or after spraying CAPTAN. Use a non-ionic surfactant when a captan-based spraying program is in use in the orchard, as CAPTAN is not compatible with oil-based applications. A very small amount of transient apple fruit blemish has been associated with low water volume applications. Please refer to the label precautions and directions of other products before mixing with INVERT EW. Caution- DO NOT apply INVERT EW: · when unusually hot conditions are present or expected within 24 hours after application. · under poor or slow drying conditions. · with equipment that may leave large droplets on fruit after application

AVOCADOS
Pest: Sixspotted mite
Rates: 37.5 mL plus 500 mL allpurpose spraying oil/100 litres of water. Alternatively, mix with a non-ionic surfactant at label rates
Critical Comments: For optimum residual control, apply in early spring before there is a build up of mite populations. The first application should be made when mites are first found and before severe infestation and defoliation has occurred. Subsequent applications should be made at a 14 to 28 day spray interval. To prevent resistance developing apply a maximum of 3 applications per season

KIWIFRUIT
Pest: Leafrollers
Rates: 25 mL/100 litres of water plus a non-ionic surfactant at label rates. Spray to the point of fun off (approx. 2000 litres/ha) ensuring not less than 500 mL INVERT EW /crop hectare
Critical Comments: Apply immediately after flowering, followed by 2 further sprays at 14 day intervals. Further applications should be made at 3 week intervals or if monitoring shows a need. The final spray must NOT be made within 120 days of harvest. DO NOT mix any foliar fertilisers or nutrient products with INVERT EW on kiwifruit.

POTATOES
Pest: Tomatopotato psyllid
Rates: 600 mL/ha plus a suitable adjuvant at label rates
Critical Comments: Apply at the first appearance of the pest. Ensure thorough crop coverage and penetration of the spray into the crop. Inadequate coverage can result in reduced pest control. Make a maximum of 4 applications per season at 7 day intervals as part of a pest control program.

STRAWBERRIES
Pest: Twospotted mite
Rates: 100 mL/100 litres of water. Apply a minimum of 600 mL INVERT EW / ha
Critical Comments: Apply at the first appearance of mites when numbers exceed 3 to 5 mites/leaf. Make 2 applications 7 to 10 days apart, with a maximum of 3 applications per season. Ensure thorough coverage of the plants

TOMATOES (indoor)
Pest: Twospotted mite, tomato russet mit
Rates: 60 to 90 mL /100 litres of water. Apply a minimum of 300 to 450 mL INVERT EW/ha and a minimum of 500 litres of water/ha
Critical Comments: Apply on the first appearance of Mites. Use the higher rate under high Mite pressure and where Russet Mite is obvious or the main Mite present. Apply a maximum of 3 applications per season.

MIXING
Add the required amount of INVERT EW to the partly filled spray tank, then add the remainder of the water. If oil is recommended, add this after the INVERT EW is well mixed. Wetting agent is NOT required in Strawberries, Tomatoes or Ornamentals.

COMPATIBILITY
INVERT EW is compatible with most of the commonly used insecticides and fungicides. Mixtures with more than one chemical are NOT recommended. As formulations of other manufacturer’s products are beyond the control of ADAMA, all mixtures should be tested prior to use.

EQUIPMENT
Apply using well maintained and accurately calibrated spray equipment.

WITHHOLDING PERIODS
It is an offence for the users of this product to cause residues exceeding the relevant MRL in the NZ (Maximum Residues of Agricultural Compounds) Food Standard.
Avocados 14 days
Kiwifruit 120 days
Pipfruit 14 days
Potatoes 14 days
Strawberries 3 days
