BEWARE: Apply this product carefully. Spray drift may cause serious damage to other desirable plants. A strategy to minimize spray drift should be employed at all times when applying spray near aquatic environments. 

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

GARLIC, ONIONS
Weed controlled: Annual Sowthistle, Black nightshade, Chickweed, Cleavers, Cornbind, Dandelion, Fathen, Musky Storksbill, Shepherds Purse, Twin Cress, Wild Turnip, Willowweed
Rate: 1.8 litres/ha in minimum 450 litres water

Weed controlled: Buttercup, Deadnettle, Field Pansy, Fumitory, Groundsel, Nettle, Plantain, Speedwells, Stinking Mayweed
Rate: 2.7 litres/ha in minimum 450 litres water

Critical Comments: Apply when weeds are small and actively growing, and onions have 3 true leaves. Re-apply as required. Split applications at rates of 450 ml/ha at 7 day intervals in combination with other herbicides approved for onions can improve the spectrum of activity and allow applications at the 2 true leaf stage of the onion. Note: Slight scorch or wilting can occur after application but this is only temporary. Hot dry conditions can enhance this effect.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Iotril Herbicide is a quick acting contact herbicide with very limited translocation and no useful soil activity. Good coverage of the target weed is therefore essential. Iotril Herbicide is active on a wide range of broadleaved weeds. Weeds should be small and actively growing. Best results are obtained using low rates at frequent intervals. Although Iotril Herbicide becomes rainfast after only 3 hours, good results are obtained in warm misty conditions. Warm temperatures, high humidity and low light enhance its activity.

APPLICATION
Apply in a minimum of 450 litres of water/ha through conventional ground equipment, ensuring thorough coverage of the weeds.

COMPATIBILITY
Iotril Herbicide can be tank-mixed with a wide range of herbicides approved for use in onions and fields. DO NOT add any adjuvants, such as surfactants to Iotril Herbicide alone or tank mixtures unless previous experience has shown them to be safe.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING
Naturally occurring weed biotypes resistant to hydroxybenzonitrile herbicides can become more prevalent after many years of continuous use. To delay the onset of, or control resistant weeds, use in rotation with herbicides of different mode of action.
