For the control of a wide range of diseases in Barley, Ryegrass Seed Crops and Wheat and for the control of Blackspot and Powdery Mildew in Apples and Pears and Powdery Mildew in Pumpkins and Winter Squash

GENERAL INFORMATION
SEGURIS FLEXI is a broad spectrum fungicide from the carboxamide group (complex II respiration inhibitor) with protectant properties. SEGURIS FLEXI is rainfast within 2 hours. SEGURIS FLEXI should not affect beneficial species including Parasitic Wasps, Hover Flies, Lacewings and Honeybees.

RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT
SEGURIS FLEXI Fungicide is a member of the Succinate dehydrogenase inhibitors group of fungicides. For fungicide resistance management SEGURIS FLEXI is a Group 7 fungicide. Some naturally occurring individual fungi resistant to SEGURIS FLEXI and other Group 7 fungicides may exist through normal genetic variability in any fungal population. The resistant individuals can eventually dominate the fungi population if these fungicides are used repeatedly. These resistant fungi will not be controlled by SEGURIS FLEXI and other Group 7 fungicides, thus resulting in a reduction in efficacy and possible yield loss.

APPLES AND PEARS
DO NOT make more than 3 applications of SEGURIS FLEXI or any other Group 7 Fungicide per crop per season. Where 12 or more fungicide applications are made per season a maximum of 4 applications may be used.
SEGURIS FLEXI MUST be applied either in strict alternation or in mixture with another approved, non-cross resistant, fungicide recommended for the control of the same target diseases. Refer to manufacturers' recommendations for rates of partner fungicides. If used in mixture apply a maximum of 2 consecutive Group 7 fungicide sprays.

PUMPKINS AND WINTER SQUASH
Use a maximum of 2 applications of SEGURIS FLEXI or any other Group 7 fungicide per crop per season. SEGURIS FLEXI MUST be applied either in strict alternation or in mixture with another approved, non-cross resistant, fungicide recommend for the control of the same target diseases.

CEREALS AND RYEGRASS SEED CROPS
Use a maximum of 2 applications of SEGURIS FLEXI or any other Group 7 fungicide per crop per season. Split/reduced rate programs, using repeated applications, which provide continuous selection pressure, MUST NOT be used.
Cereals: SEGURIS FLEXI MUST be applied in mixture with another approved, non-cross resistant, fungicide recommend for the control of the same target diseases. Refer to manufacturers' recommendations for rates of partner fungicides.
Ryegrass Seed Crops: SEGURIS FLEXI MUST be applied either in strict alternation or in mixture with another approved, non-cross resistant, fungicide recommend for the control of the same target diseases. Refer to manufacturers' recommendations for rates of partner fungicides.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
It is an offence to use this product on animals.
Horticulture uses

APPLES, PEARS
Disease:
Black spot (Venturia inaequalis, Venturia pirina), Powdery Mildew (Podosphaera leucotricha)
Rate:
80 mL/100L of water as a dilute spray. Ensure 1.2 L product /ha
Critical Comments:
SEGURIS FLEXI MUST be applied in strict alternation or in mixture with another approved, non-cross resistant, fungicide recommended for the control of the same target diseases. If applied in mixture apply no more than 2 consecutive sprays. Refer to manufacturers' recommendations for rates of partner fungicides.
Ensure thorough coverage. For high volume spraying apply SEGURIS FLEXI as a dilute spray ensuring complete coverage without excessive run-off. For concentrate spraying adjust dilution rate accordingly.
Apply SEGURIS FLEXI as a protectant fungicide at 7 to 10 day intervals from tight cluster. Apply at no more than 7 day intervals from tight cluster to 90% petal fall and during periods conducive to black spot infection or periods of rapid tree growth. If the interval exceeds 7 days and there has been a blackspot infection period the addition of a blackspot active DMI product eg SCORE 10 WG is required, used according to label recommendations.
If any other protectant fungicide follows a SEGURIS FLEXI application, it should be applied no later than 7 days after the last SEGURIS FLEXI spray. Apply by ground-based application methods only.

PUMPKINS, WINTER SQUASH
Disease:
Powdery Mildew
Rate:
600 mL/ha
Critical Comments:
Apply in sufficient water to ensure complete coverage. Apply SEGURIS FLEXI as a protectant fungicide at 14 to 21 day intervals. Use the closer interval under high disease pressure or rapid plant growth. DO NOT apply more than 2 applications per season. SEGURIS FLEXI MUST be applied in strict alternation or in mixture with another approved non-cross resistant, fungicide recommended for the control of powdery mildew.

Arable uses

BARLEY
Disease:
Leaf Rust (Puccinia hordei), Net Blotch (Pyrenophora teres), Ramularia (Ramularia collo-cygni), Scald (Rhynchosporium secalis)
Rate:
600 mL/ha
Critical Comments:
Apply as a preventative spray. SEGURIS FLEXI MUST be applied in mixture with another approved, non-cross resistant, fungicide recommended for the control of the same target diseases in cereals. Refer to manufacturers' recommendations for rates of partner fungicides. The addition of an approved triazole fungicide is recommended. DO NOT apply more than 2 applications per season. Re-infection may require further treatment 4 to 6 weeks later. Barley: DO NOT apply after GS 59 end of heading, inflorescence fully emerged.

RYEGRASS SEED CROPS
Disease:
Stem rust (Puccinia graminis), Crown rust (Puccinia coronata)
Rate:
600 mL/ha
Critical Comments:
Apply as a preventative spray. SEGURIS Flexi MUST be applied either in alternation or in mixture with another approved, non-cross resistant, fungicide recommended for the control of the same target diseases. Refer to manufacturers' recommendations for rates of partner fungicides. The addition of an approved triazole fungicide is recommended if disease infection has occurred. If disease pressure persists further applications may be required.
DO NOT apply more than 2 applications per season.

WHEAT
Disease:
Leaf Rust (Puccinia recondita), Stripe Rust (Puccinia striiformis)
Rate:
600 mL/ha

Disease: Speckled Leaf Blotch (Mycosphaerella graminicola)
Rate:
1000 mL/ha

Critical Comments: Apply as a preventative spray. Wheat: DO NOT apply after GS 69 end of flowering.

MIXING
Half-fill the spray tank with clean water and start agitation. Add the required amount of SEGURIS FLEXI and allow to disperse before adding any other tank mix products. Complete the filling of the spray tank with the rest of the water while continuing to agitate the mixture thoroughly. Maintain agitation until spraying is complete. DO NOT leave the spray mix in the sprayer overnight.

APPLICATION
Arable uses: Use 200 litres/ha of water by ground. Use higher water volumes 250 to 300 litres/ha in dense or advanced crops. Uniform coverage is essential for best results.

COMPATIBILITY
SEGURIS FLEXI is compatible with triazole (DMI) and strobilurin fungicides, and commonly used insecticides and protectant fungicides. Before using any tank mixture, consult and comply with the recommendations of the partner product. Each product should be added separately to the bulk of the water in the spray tank whilst filling and agitator working.
