For the control of thrips on bulb Onions.

GENERAL INFORMATION
DO NOT apply if rainfall is expected or irrigation is planned before spray would have dried, as reduced efficacy may result.
Crop monitoring: For effective onion thrips control, regularly monitor crops during the season.

RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT
SOLVIGO Insecticide contains members of the neonicotinoid and avermectin group of insecticides. SOLVIGO is a Group 4 and 6 insecticide. Resistance to this insecticide could develop from repeated use.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
It is an offence to use this product on animals.

BULB ONIONS
Pest: Onion thrips (Thrips tabaci)
Rate: 750 mL/ha
Critical Comments: Make the first application when monitoring of thrips indicates the threshold level has been reached. Repeat at 7 day intervals, as a cluster of 3 to 4 sequential applications, as dictated by pest pressure. DO NOT wait for thrips populations to reach levels significantly above spray threshold levels before applying SOLVIGO. DO NOT apply more than 4 applications of SOLVIGO per year. Apply in sufficient water volume to ensure thorough and uniform canopy coverage, including between leaves. Apply SOLVIGO with an organosilicone spreader at recommended label rates

APPLICATION
Apply by ground based methods only. SOLVIGO must only be applied using a low height boom spray with a nozzle set to provide a coarse spray.

SPRAY DRIFT
The person applying this substance must not cause adverse effects beyond the boundary of the treated property, and must also avoid adverse effects from spray drift occurring. Mitigation measures employed must be recorded as part of the application records.
SOLVIGO must NOT be applied within 70 m of a downwind water body.

RESTRICTED ENTRY INTERVAL
The person in charge of the application area shall ensure that no person enters the application area within 24 hours unless wearing impervious gloves.
The public must not be permitted to access any area where this product has been sprayed within 24 hours of application.

MIXING
Partly fill the spray tank with water. Start the agitation and add the correct amount of SOLVIGO to the spray tank with the agitation system running. Continue agitation while topping up the spray tank with water. Add the surfactant at the completion of filling the spray tank. Continue agitation while spraying.

WITHHOLDING PERIODS
It is an offence for the users of this product to cause residues exceeding the relevant MRL in the NZ (Maximum Residues of Agricultural Compounds) Food Standard

Store in a cool, dry place, avoiding direct sunlight and temperatures above 30°C.
