For the control of Botrytis in Grapes, Bulb Onions, Botrytis, Anthracnose and Rhizopus in Strawberries and Botrytis and Anthracnose in Blueberries.

GENERAL INFORMATION
SWITCH is a mixture of aniline-pyrimidine and phenylpyrrole fungicides, which in combination have protectant and systemic activity against Botrytis (grey mould) infections in grapes and bulb onions and Botrytis (grey mould), Colletotrichum (anthracnose) and Rhizopus (leak) infections in strawberries. SWITCH has multi-site action, inhibiting spore germination, penetration of the germ tube and mycelial growth. It is rainfast within 2 hours following application.

RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT
SWITCH contains the GROUP 9 fungicide, cyprodinil, belonging to the aniline-pyrimidine class of chemistry) and the GROUP 12 fungicide, fludioxonil, belonging to the phenylpyrrole class of chemistry). Resistance to this fungicide and related anilinopyrimidine products could develop in some situations from repeated use. To minimise this risk use strictly in accordance with the label instructions.
Blueberries, Grapes and Bulb Onions: DO NOT use more than 2 applications of SWITCH or any other anilinopyrimidine fungicide on the same crop during the season.
Strawberries: A maximum of 3 applications of SWITCH or any other anilinopyrimidine fungicide per season can be made if more than 6 sprays in total are made for botrytis control. If 6 or less botrytis control sprays are made then DO NOT apply more than 2 applications of SWITCH or any other anilinopyrimidine fungicide per season.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
It is an offence to use this product on animals.

BLUEBERRIES
Disease:
Grey Mould (Botrytis), Anthracnose (Colletotrichum)
Rate: 80 g/100 litres of water, applying sufficient mixture to ensure 800 g product /ha
Critical Comments: A maximum of 2 applications of SWITCH can be made per season.
Applications should be made using a water rate sufficient to obtain good coverage without runoff (approximately 1000 L per hectare). The first application should be made at full flower with the second application no later than 14 days after the completion of flowering.

BULB ONIONS
Disease:
 Botrytis
Rate: 800 g/ha
Critical Comments: A maximum of 2 applications of SWITCH can be made per season at key timings for botrytis control i.e. flag leaf and pre harvest. Apply in sufficient water to ensure thorough and uniform coverage. Applications MUST be made with the addition of a non-ionic wetting agent at manufacturer's label rates.

GRAPES
Disease:
 Botrytis
Rate: 80 g/100 litres of water, applying sufficient mixture to ensure 800 g product /ha
Critical Comments: The rate suggested is for high volume spraying to run off. For concentrate spraying, adjust dilution rate accordingly. It is essential that good coverage of the bunch zone is achieved. The addition of a non-ionic wetting agent at manufacturer's label rates will assist coverage. A maximum of 2 applications per season can be made. SWITCH can be applied at either early flowering (5% capfall), late flowering (80% capfall), pre bunch closure or in the period from the beginning of berry ripening up until 28 days before harvest. Apply an approved fungicide from a different chemical group for the remainder of the season.

STRAWBERRIES
Disease:
Grey Mould (Botrytis), Anthracnose (Colletotrichum) and leak (Rhizopus)
Rate: 80 g/100 litres of water, applying sufficient mixture to ensure 800 g product /ha
Critical Comments: The rate suggested is for high volume spraying to run off. For concentrate spraying, adjust dilution rate accordingly. It is essential that good coverage is achieved. The addition of a non-ionic wetting agent at manufacturer's label rates will assist coverage. SWITCH can be applied at 7 to 14 day intervals from flowering onwards. The closer interval is recommended when conditions are conducive to disease infection. SWITCH applications may be applied in a block or in alternation with other non anilinopyrimidine fungicides registered for botrytis control. See resistance management for the maximum number of applications.

MIXING
Add the required amount of SWITCH into the mixing chamber of the partly filled spray tank and add the remainder of the water ensuring complete mixing before spraying. Continue agitation during spraying.

COMPATIBILITY
SWITCH is compatible with other commonly used fungicides and insecticides.

WITHHOLDING PERIOD
It is an offence for users of this product to cause residues exceeding the relevant MRL in the New Zealand (Maximum Residue Limits of Agricultural Compounds) Food Standards.
