Annual to perennial plant with taproot, originates from Eurasia.

Characteristic Features: Hairy stemmed annual bearing clusters of pink to white flowers.

Cotyledons: Acute triangular to cordate, long-petiolate, cordate emarginate at the petiole.

Stems: Prostrate to ascending, heavily ramified at the base, sparsely haired, often reddish-splotched, up to 50 cm (19.68 inch) high.

Leaves: Reniform to circular, with 5-7 lobed, notched blade with hairs on the underside and margin.
