Prostrate amaranth

Heat-loving, annual seed-propagated weed with richly branched lateral shoots reaching a length of up to 50 cm. Mainly found on loose, nutrient-rich soils that are in good condition. Prostrate pigweed lacks the hairs common to redroot pigweed and has smooth leaves.
