Suspension Fungicide Seed Protectant for use on cereals including wheat, barley, oats, rye and triticale. Contains ipconazole for the control or suppression of: seed rot, pre- and postemergence damping-off, seedling blight, smuts, bunts, leaf stripe, root rot caused by listed pathogens. May be tank mixed with Apron XL LS for control of Pythium.

DO NOT contaminate irrigation water supplies or aquatic habitats by cleaning of equipment or disposal of wastes. DO NOT apply by air.
RANCONA Apex Fungicide is a broad-spectrum, ready to use seed treatment fungicide with systemic properties recommended for the control of labelled diseases on cereals, including wheat, barley, oats, rye and triticale. Seed should be sound and well cured before treatment.
ALWAYS SHAKE OR STIR PRODUCT WELL BEFORE USE
RANCONA Apex Fungicide is a ready to use formulation and should be applied utilizing mechanical, slurry or mist-type on-farm or commercial seed treating equipment, which can be calibrated to accurately and uniformly apply the product to seed. Uniform application to seed is necessary to ensure best disease protection and optimum performance. Refer to the label rates below.
Closed mix/load equipment must be used in commercial seed treatment facilities.
Undiluted RANCONA Apex Fungicide can be used at temperatures down to -20°C. Treater calibration will be affected by temperature and should be rechecked on a regular basis. In most cases, RANCONA Apex Fungicide can be applied undiluted, but dilution with water may be appropriate for some types of treaters and/or treating under dry and/or hot conditions to achieve more uniform product to seed coverage. RANCONA Apex Fungicide and water should be mixed thoroughly prior to treating seed. Recalibrate treating equipment to compensate for the addition of water. The amount of dilution water that is most suitable depends on the seed, treater type and temperature. • Do not store RANCONA Apex Fungicide in direct sunlight. Do not store RANCONA Apex Fungicide at temperatures above 35°C. Keep from freezing.
• For cleaning lines and reservoirs, flush with water.
• Mixing of RANCONA Apex Fungicide with other seed treatment products may result in gelling or sedimentation. Seed treater lines and reservoirs should therefore be thoroughly cleaned before changing over to RANCONA Apex Fungicide.
• Seeding rate should be checked during planting.
• Mix well before using.
• RANCONA Apex Fungicide treated wheat and barley seed may be stored for up to 18 months without reduction in germination due to the treatment chemical. However, treatment of highly mechanically damaged seed, or seed known to be of low vigour and poor quality, except for the purpose of curative control of existing disease pests, may result in reduced germination and/or reduction of seed and seedling vigour. Treat and conduct germination tests on a small test sample of seed before treating commercial quantities with a selected chemical treatment.
