RESTRICTIONS:

RESISTANCE.
To reduce the risk of the development of resistance to ANGRI, it is important to ensure that a non-pyrethroid insecticide is incorporated into the pest control programme each year. Where aphids have already developed resistance to cypermethrin-based products, ANGRI is unlikely to give satisfactory control and further applications are not recommended.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS
Shake the container before use. Place half the required amount of clean water in the spray tank and commence agitation. Add the required amount of ANGRI. The use of sprayer mounted pressure rinsing equipment is advised. If not available, containers should be manually rinsed three times. Add the remaining water requirement and continue agitation during spraying. Do not allow the spray mixture to stand. Immediately after use wash sprayer and other equipment thoroughly with water and detergent.Dispose of empty rinsed containers according to the MAPP/HSE Code of Practice for the Safe Use of Pesticides on Farms and Holdings. Thoroughly wash all equipment after use.

Tank Mixes
ANGRI can be tank mixed with a range of other products. If using tank mixes, unless directed otherwise the preferred order of addition of products to the tank is: water dispersible granules, wettable powders, suspension concentrates (flowables), emulsifiable concentrates, solution concentrates. Each product must be added to a half-full sprayer and be fully dispersed before the addition of the next product.Tank mixes must only be applied within the label recommendations of every product in the mix.
Contact Agchem Access Ltd. for compatibility information on specific tank mixes. Manufacturer’s instructions must be followed for each tank-mix component.

Water Volume
Apply ANGRI in 200 litres of water per hectare to wheat, barley, oats, oilseed rape, linseed, peas and field beans. This volume may be increased to 300L/ha in dense crops. When using ANGRI in potatoes or sugar beet for cutworm control, use an application volume of 600 – 1000 litres. DO NOT use in water volumes less than 200 litres/ha.

Spray quality
Apply as a MEDIUM spray (as defined by BCPC).

CROP SPECIFIC INFORMATION
Rate of application and timing
Wheat, barley and oats:
For control of BYDV vectors such as Bird Cherry and Grain aphids, ANGRI should be applied at 150 mls/ha during October or November. Where crops are drilled early, where sites have a history of BYDV infection or in very mild autumns, a second application may be required 3-5 weeks later to achieve full control.

For control of summer grain aphids, apply 150 mls/ha once HGCA recommended thresholds have been reached. All applications must be made before flowering is complete (BBCH 69).

Oilseed rape: For control of cabbage stem flea beetle, pollen beetle, pod midge, seed weevil and flea beetle, apply 100 mls/ha. Applications for Cabbage stem flea beetle control should start when feeding damage is first noted or when economic thresholds of larvae are present. Pollen beetle control is recommended when economic thresholds are present from green bud to yellow bud stages. Pod midge and seed weevil control is recommended when economic thresholds are reached at any stage up to the end of flowering. An application of ANGRI will also reduce populations of mealy cabbage aphid and reduce the feeding damage caused by flea beetles. All applications must be made before the end of flowering.

Linseed: An application of 100 mls/ha ANGRI will reduce the damage caused by adult flea beetle and large flea beetle feeding. All applications must be made before the 4 true leaf stage of the crop.

Combine and Vining peas and Field beans:
Pheromone moth traps should be used to monitor the presence of pea moth in the crop and an application of 150 mls/ha ANGRI should be applied when the threshold is reached. This application will also give some reduction in pea aphids. ANGRI can also be used in peas to control pea weevils when they are attacking the growing point of the crop. An application of 150 mls/ha should be made and, where high numbers of weevil are present, a second application may be required after 2-3 weeks. All applications must be made a minimum of 14 days before harvest.

Potatoes and Sugar beet:
Two applications of 125 mls/ha ANGRI will control cutworm in sugar beet and potatoes. The first application should be applied at egg hatch and a second application should be applied after a minimum interval of 10 days. Both applications must be made at least 14 days before harvest of potatoes and at least 60 days before harvest of sugar beet.
