AUBRAC is a systemic, protectant and trans-laminar fungicide for disease control in a wide range of crops.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
IMPORTANT: This information is approved as part of the Product Label. All instructions within this section must be read carefully in order to obtain safe and successful use of this product. AUBRAC is a foliar applied systemic, protectant and translaminar fungicide for the control of a range of diseases in a wide range of crops.

RESTRICTIONS
Do not treat crops that are or have been under stress from any cause, including poor soil or cultural conditions, adverse climatic conditions, waterlogging or drought, pest or disease attack, nutrient deficiency, or any other cause.
AUBRAC may cause damage to some varieties of apples; it is therefore important to avoid drift onto apple trees. When spraying apples, avoid the use of spray equipment which has been used to apply AUBRAC.
Do not use AUBRAC for control of soil-borne potato diseases on high organic matter soils, as this prevents the product from working.
Consult processors before treating crops of peas or potatoes which are destined for processing.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS
Shake the container before use.
Place half the required amount of clean water in the spray tank and commence agitation.
Add the required amount of AUBRAC.
Rinse all used containers thoroughly and add the washings to the spray tank.
The use of sprayer mounted pressure rinsing equipment is advised.
If not available, containers should be manually rinsed three times. Add the remaining water requirement and continue agitation during spraying.
Do not allow the spray mixture to stand.
Immediately after use wash sprayer and other equipment thoroughly with water and detergent.
Dispose of empty rinsed containers according to the MAPP/HSE Code of Practice for the Safe Use of Pesticides on Farms and Holdings.
Thoroughly wash all equipment after use.

Tank Mixes
AUBRAC can be tank mixed with a range of other products. If using tank mixes, unless directed otherwise the preferred order of addition of products to the tank is: water dispersible granules, wettable powders, suspension concentrates (flowables), emulsifiable concentrates, solution concentrates. Each product must be added to a half-full sprayer and be fully dispersed before the addition of the next product.
Tank mixes must only be applied within the label recommendations of every product in the mix.
Contact Agchem Access Ltd. for compatibility information on specific tank mixes.
Manufacturer’s instructions must be followed for each tank-mix component.

Method of Application
Apply by means of a conventional hydraulic nozzle tractor-mounted or trailed sprayer. Ensure that the sprayer is correctly calibrated to apply the recommended water volume and spray quality and the boom height and nozzles are adjusted to give even coverage of the crop. Outdoor asparagus crops may be treated using hand-held spray equipment.

Water Volume
Apply AUBRAC in a minimum of 200 litres of water per hectare to cereal crops (winter wheat, spring wheat, winter barley, spring barley, oats, rye and triticale), combining peas, vining peas, leeks, carrots, field beans, bulb onions and oilseed rape. This volume may be increased to 300L/ha in dense crops.
Pre-planting applications to potatoes should be made at 200-400L/ha, using a coarse spray through air-induction nozzles. In-furrow application should be made at 50-150 litres of water per hectare, using specialist in-furrow application equipment.
Outdoor asparagus crops should be sprayed with 600L/ha when using a horizontal boom sprayer; 200L/ha may be used when applying the product through hand-held spray equipment.
Brassica crops (broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, calabrese, cauliflower, collards and kale) should be treated with AUBRAC in a minimum of 300L/ha of water.

Spray Quality
Apply as a MEDIUM spray (as defined by BCPC).

CROP SPECIFIC INFORMATION
Crops
AUBRAC can be used on the following crops: Winter wheat, spring wheat, winter barley, spring barley, oats, rye, triticale, potatoes, combining peas, vining peas, leeks, carrots, field beans, asparagus (outdoor crops only), bulb onions, oilseed rape and certain brassica crops (broccoli, brussels sprouts, cabbage, calabrese, cauliflower, collards (spring greens), kale (winter greens).

Application recommendations for potatoes
Pre-planting applications (6.0 litres product per hectare): Apply the product as a coarse quality spray; best results are obtained by use of air-induction nozzles, 50cm above the soil surface. Immediately after application, the products should be incorporated to a depth of 15cm. Planting should take place the same day as application.
In-furrow application (3.0 litres product per hectare): Apply the product using two nozzles per row, one before the planting share spraying forwards in to the furrow, and one mounted at the rear of the share in order to spray the soil covering the tuber. Using seed which has only recently broken dormancy, or spraying seed tubers during planting, may cause a delay in emergence. Use well chitted seed, or cold-stored seed which has not yet begun to sprout. Previous applications of imazalil, pencycuron, or a combination of these active ingredients, may cause a check in crop emergence, following applications of AUBRAC. These effects are usually, but not always, outgrown.

Disease Resistance
AUBRAC contains Azoxystrobin, a fungicide in the QoI or strobilurin fungicide group. Strains of diseases with decreased sensitivity towards these fungicides are present in the UK. In such situations the level of control achieved with AUBRAC may not be satisfactory.
The following General Guidelines for Disease Resistance Management have been issued by the Fungicide Resistance Action Group – UK:
Use disease resistant varieties wherever possible to reduce reliance on fungicides and to decrease resistance selection pressure;
Restrict the number of applications per season;
Pay particular attention to timing;
Where possible use fungicide mixtures, or alternate fungicides of different types;
Always use the recommended rate. Avoid repeated applications of low doses;
Be prepared to use new fungicides with novel modes of action.
Particular recommendations for AUBRAC are:
In cereal crops, AUBRAC must always be applied in mixtures with other products of different modes of action, but with activity against the target disease;
To minimise risk of resistance developing in soil-borne potato diseases, do not use tubers from crops treated with AUBRAC for seed;
To minimise the risk of resistance developing in potato late blight Phytophthora infestans, use no more than two QoI or strobilurin fungicide applications in a crop treated with AUBRAC;
 Do not make more than two applications of AUBRAC to outdoor asparagus, field beans, oilseed rape, brassica crops, peas (combining or vining);
 Apply no more than three applications of AUBRAC to bulb onions when the product is used as part of a disease control programme, and no more than two applications if the product is used alone.
