DIRECTIONS FOR USE
IMPORTANT: This information is approved as part of the Product Label. All instructions within this section must be read carefully in order to obtain safe and successful use of this
product.

Restrictions
AYLORA should not be applied to any crop suffering from stress as a result of drought, waterlogging, low temperatures, nutrient or lime deficiency or other factors reducing crop growth.
Avoid application in either frosty or hot, sunny weather conditions.

Disease Control
AYLORA contains chlorothalonil (a phthalonitrile fungicide) and penthiopyrad (a succinate dehydrogenease inhibitor (SDHI)) and controls a range of diseases in wheat and barley. At the recommended rate of application, AYLORA controls the following diseases.

AYLORA should only be applied as a protectant treatment and should not be applied to established infections or relied on for its curative potential.

Resistance
Use AYLORA as part of an Integrated Crop Management (ICM) strategy incorporating other methods of control, including where appropriate other fungicides with a different mode of action. Disease control may be reduced if strains of pathogens less sensitive to penthiopyrad develop. When fungicides with the same mode of action are used repeatedly over several years in the same field, naturally occurring less sensitive strains may survive, propagate and become dominant in that field. A pathogen is considered resistant to a fungicide if it survives a correctly applied treatment at a recommended dose and timing, under normal weather conditions.

Volume and Application
Apply in 200 ‐ 300 litres/ha of water using spraying equipment to give good even coverage of the crop. The higher volumes are recommended when the crop is dense. A spray pressure of 2 – 3 Bar is recommended. Effectiveness using three star drift reduction technology may be reduced.

Mixing
Ensure that the sprayer is clean and correctly set to give an even application at the required volume. Half‐fill the spray tank with clean water and start agitation. Shake the container and add the required amount of AYLORA to the sprayer using a filling device (e.g. induction bowl or closed transfer unit) or by direct addition to the sprayer tank. Wash out containers thoroughly, preferably using an integrated pressure rinsing device, or manually rinse three times. Add washings to the sprayer at the time of filling. Complete filling to the required volume and continue to agitate throughout the spraying operation. Do not leave the spray liquid in the sprayer for long periods (such as during meal breaks or overnight). Thoroughly wash out sprayer after use.

Crops
AYLORA can be used on all winter and spring crops of wheat and barley. Apply AYLORA under good growing conditions with adequate soil moisture. Avoid poor growing conditions
which may give less reliable results.

Dose
Apply AYLORA at 2.5 litre per hectare.

Timing
Apply before disease is established in the crop. To protect the upper leaves and ear apply AYLORA to wheat from the beginning of stem elongation (GS30) up to the end of flowering stage (GS69). AYLORA can be applied in barley from the beginning of stem elongation (GS30) up to the end of heading (GS59).

Application to upper leaves where disease symptoms are present is likely to be less effective. If disease pressure remains high, follow up treatment with suitable alternative fungicides may be required to provide season long control.

Up to a maximum of 2 treatments may be made. If, following a disease risk assessment or the use of the appropriate decision support systems, a second treatment is required; this may be applied after 21 days.

Compatibility
Products should only be tank‐mixed if each product can be applied within the label recommendations for its use. For further information contact your DuPont distributor.
