A broad-spectrum insecticide for control of insect pests in a wide range of crops.
Formulation:
Contains 480 g/l (46.4% w/w) chlorpyrifos.
Compatibility:
Do not mix with highly alkaline materials. Not compatible with zineb or DUK118. Add each chemical slowly and
separately to the bulk of water and agitate thoroughly during filling and whilst spraying.
BALLAD is compatible with approved formulations of paraquat (MAFF10526).

Resistance:
Aphids: strains of some aphid species are resistant to many aphicides. Where aphids resistant to chlorpyrifos occur, Ballad is unlikely to give satisfactory control. Repeat applications of the same product are unlikely to improve effectiveness.
Spider mites: strains of spider mites resistant to one or more groups of acaricides are widespread. Where strains resistant to chlorpyrifos occur, Ballad is unlikely to give satisfactory control.
