DIRECTIONS FOR USE
IMPORTANT: This information is approved as part of the Product Label. All instructions within this section must be read carefully in order to obtain safe and successful use of this product.
BUMPER P is a fungicidal mixture containing propiconazole, of the triazole family and prochloraz of the imidazole class.

RESTRICTIONS
Harvest Interval: Allow at least six weeks between the latest spray and harvest. Do not spray cereals later than the anthesis complete stage (GS 69). Do not spray oilseed rape later than most seeds green stage.
Do not spray oilseed rape during flowering (BBCH GS 59-69).
Drift: avoid drift - do not spray in windy weather.
Tank Mixtures: On wheat and barley only application of BUMPER P with mildew fungicides may result in scorch to the crop, which will normally be outgrown without affecting yield.
Tank mixing is not recommended on oilseed rape.

DISEASE CONTROL
DISEASE CONTROL IN WINTER AND SPRING WHEAT, WINTER BARLEY AND SPRING BARLEY
Uses:
BUMPER P is recommended for the control of certain stem base, foliar and ear diseases of winter and spring wheat and winter and spring barley:
Eyespot (Pseudocercosporella herpotrichoides)
Leaf spot (Septoria tritici and nodorum)
Leaf blotch (Rhynchosporium secalis)
DISEASE CONTROL IN OILSEED RAPE
Uses:
BUMPER P will control the following diseases on all varieties of Winter and Spring Oilseed rape.
Light Leaf Spot (Pyrenopeziza brassicae)
Leaf Spot/stem canker (Phoma lingam)

RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT STRATEGY
The efficacy of this product may be affected if strains of disease pathogens resistant or less sensitive occur at any time. As such occurrences cannot be predicted no responsibility can be accepted for the results obtained.
To reduce the risk of development of resistance, do not apply more than two prochloraz based treatments to any crop.
BUMPER P contains DMI fungicides. Resistance to some DMI fungicides has been identified in Septoria leaf blotch (Mycosphaerella graminicola) which may seriously affect the performance of some products. For further information on resistance management in DMI's contact your agronomist or specialist advisor, and visit the FRAG-UK website.

CROP SPECIFIC INFORMATION
Wheat and Barley
Timing:
For the control of Eyespot, spray in the spring at the first sign of the disease from when the leaf sheaths begin to become erect (GS 30) until the first node is detectable (GS 31). Any over-wintering Eyespot will be controlled at this time.
If weather conditions continue to favour Eyespot development after treatment, a second spray may be necessary 4 to 6 weeks later, but no later than the third node detectable stage in wheat (GS 33) or flag leaf emergence in barley (GS 39).
For the control of Septoria tritici apply when the disease is active from the flag leaf ligule/collar just visible (Growth Stage 39) but before it reaches the flag and leaf 2. In situations where there is a high risk of Septoria, an earlier application should be made.
For the control of Rhynchosporium apply from the first node detectable stage (GS 31) when Rhynchosporium is actively spreading on the leaves but still in the early stages of disease development.
If disease pressure persists a second application may be necessary.
For the control of mildew tank mix with a fenpropimorph fungicide.
Rate of use
Wheat and barley: 1.0 l/ha.
Water volume: 200 l/ha ground spray.
Oilseed Rape
Timing:
Light Leaf Spot (Pyrenopeziza brassicae): apply at the first sign of Light Leaf Spot in the autumn or winter when conditions favour spread of the disease. If new infection appears in the spring apply BUMPER P from the beginning of stem extension.
Leaf spot/stem canker (Phoma lingam); Phoma leaf spot is spread by rainsplash and can be found from October onwards. Spray at the first sign of infection during the autumn or winter.
Rate of use
Apply 1.25 l/ha in 200-400 litres per hectare water as a medium spray quality. Use the higher volume of water for dense crops or for the second treatment.

MIXING AND APPLICATION
Shake well before use.
Half fill the spray tank with clean water and begin agitation. Add the required amount of BUMPER P and the remainder of water whilst agitating. Continue to agitate the mixture until spraying is completed.
Wash out the sprayer thoroughly with water and add liquid detergent immediately after use. Finally wash out with water and drain.
Do not re-use container for any other purpose.
