CROP SPECIFIC INFORMATION INCLUDING DISEASES CONTROLLED
Timing and Recommendations
WHEAT, BARLEY AND RYE – Apply at any time up to before grain milky ripe stage and 6 weeks before harvest.
Rate of use and water volume
Maximum individual dose :- 1.5 L/ha in 200 L/ha water. Use a higher volume of 250 L/ha in dense crops after the first node is detectable and 300 L/ha in large or susceptible crops.
Maximum total dose :- 3.0 L/ha
Diseases
Eyespot in wheat, barley and rye :- Apply as disease appears, from leaf sheath becoming erect to 1st node detectable stage. Make a follow-up application 4-6 weeks later if weather conditions favour eyespot development, but before the third node detectable stage in wheat, barley or rye.
Yellow rust and brown rust in wheat, barley and rye :- Apply as disease appears. A repeat application may be necessary 2-3 weeks later. Applications made to established infections are likely to be less effective.
Powdery mildew in wheat, barley and rye :- Apply at first signs of disease (also see Resistance Section). Applications made to established infections or to particularly disease susceptible varieties are likely to be less effective.
Rhynchosporium (leaf blotch) in barley and rye :- Apply at first signs of disease and repeat 2-3 weeks later as required. Applications made to disease susceptible varieties in high-risk situations are likely to be less effective.
Septoria leaf spot and glume blotch in wheat :- Apply from flag leaf emergence (GS 37) up to before grain milky ripe stage (GS 75). To effectively control leaf spot apply when disease is active but not visible, once symptoms are present control will be more difficult.
Ear disease complex in wheat :- Apply soon after ear emergence to give reduction of Fusarium ear blight and sooty moulds (Alternaria and Cladosporium).
Net blotch in barley :- Apply at first signs of disease. A repeat application may be necessary where conditions remain favourable for disease development.

OILSEED RAPE –
Apply at any time up to and including most seeds are at green stage.
Sclerotinia stem rot :- May also give reduction of light leaf spot and Alternaria, if present at the time of application.
Rate of use :- Apply 1.5 L/ha in 200 – 400 L/ha water. Use the higher volume where crop is dense.
Maximum total dose :- 3.0 L/ha Apply at early flower to first petal fall.

APPLICATION
Apply CLAYTON PRIUS at a pressure of 2-3 bar (30-40 psi).
Spray Quality :- Apply as a MEDIUM quality spray (as defined by BCPC).
Mixing :- Before spraying it is important to check all hoses, filters and nozzles, and to ensure that the sprayer is clean and correctly set to give an even application at the correct volume. Half-fill the spray tank with clean water. Add the required quantity of CLAYTON PRIUS and begin agitation. Add the remainder of water. Continue agitation during spraying. Do not allow the spray mixture to stand in the sprayer tank.
