DIRECTIONS FOR USE
IMPORTANT: This information is approved as part of the Product Label. All instructions within this section must be read carefully in order to obtain safe and successful use of this product.

Restrictions
Avoid application to any crop suffering from stress as a result of drought, waterlogging, low temperatures, nutrient or lime deficiency or other factors reducing crop growth. Avoid application in either frosty or hot, sunny weather conditions.

CROPS
‘Credo’ can be used on all winter and spring varieties of wheat and barley

TIMING
‘Credo’ controls diseases most effectively when diseases are at low levels and before they spread to new growth. Application can be repeated after 3-4 weeks if necessary.

DOSE
Apply ‘Credo’ at 2.0 litres per hectare. Use ‘Credo’ as part of a disease management programme. Control of many diseases may be improved by using with an appropriate triazole mixture partner. This is also good practice for resistance management.

VOLUME AND APPLICATION
Apply in 200-300 litres of water per hectare using a medium quality spray (BCPC) at a pressure of at least 2 Bar. Apply through conventional crop spraying equipment. The higher
volumes are recommended when the crop is dense.

MIXING
‘Credo’ containers should be shaken well before use. ‘Credo’ mixes easily with water and should be added directly to the spray tank during filling. Wash out container and add washings to the spray tank. Continue agitation during filling and when spraying.

Resistance management
Credo is a co-formulated mixture of the strobilurin picoxystrobin and chlorothalonil.
The two active ingredients possess different modes of action and thus form part of a resistance management strategy.
Credo contains a member of the QoI cross-resistance group. Credo should be used preventatively and should not be relied on for its curative potential. Control of many diseases may be improved by using Credo® with an appropriate triazole mixture partner.
This is also good practice for resistance management.
Use Credo as part of an Integrated Crop Management (ICM) strategy incorporating other methods of control, including where appropriate other fungicides with a different mode of action. You must not apply more than two foliar applications of QoI containing products to any cereal crop. Disease control may be reduced if strains of other pathogens less sensitive to Credo.
Users should refer to current FRAG-UK guidelines for QoI compounds.

Diseases controlled
Wheat: Septoria tritici, Leptoshaeria (Syn Septoria) nodorum,Yellow Rust (moderate), Brown Rust, Tan Spot.
Barley: Net Blotch, Brown Rust, Rhynchosporium, Barley spotting – when used as part of a programme with other fungicides.
Control of many diseases may be improved by using Credo with an appropriate triazole mixture partner (e.g. epoxiconazole or prothioconazole). This is also good practice for resistance management.
