DIRECTIONS FOR USE
IMPORTANT: This information is approved as part of the Product Label. All instructions within this section must be read carefully in order to obtain safe and successful use of this product.

RESTRICTIONS OR WARNINGS
To reduce the risk of resistance developing in target diseases, the total number of applications of products containing QoI fungicides made to any crop must not exceed two. Avoid drift onto neighbouring crops, as damage may occur, particularly to broad-leaved plants. Avoid overlapping spray swaths. Crops should not be re-entered until spray residues are dry.

RESISTANCE
CUSTODIA is a co-formulated mixture of azoxystrobin, a member of the QoI cross resistance group, and tebuconazole from the triazole group. The two active ingredients possess different modes of action and thus form part of a resistance management strategy.
Users should refer to current FRAG-UK guidelines for QoI compounds.
CUSTODIA contains tebuconazole, a DMI fungicide. For further advice on resistance management in DMIs, contact your agronomist or specialist advisor, and visit the Fungicide Resistance Action Group (FRAG) - UK website.
The efficacy of this product may be affected if strains of disease pathogens resistant or less sensitive occur at any time. As such occurrences cannot be predicted. No responsibility can be accepted for the results obtained.

DISEASES CONTROLLED
Oilseed rape
Sclerotinia (Stem rot) – moderate control.
Field beans
Chocolate spot – moderate control.

CROP SPECIFIC INFORMATION

Time of application

Oilseed rape
CUSTODIA should be applied as a protectant reatment following a disease risk assessment or following appropriate decision support systems. A second treatment may be required if disease pressure remains high. CUSTODIA should be applied as a protectant spray during flowering. The optimum timing is early flowering to mid flowering (BBCH 61–65).

Field beans
Best results are achieved by applying CUSTODIA as disease appears from early flowering. The optimum timing of application is April to July (BBCH 50-75). A second spray with an alternative product may be required 3-4 weeks later if disease pressure remains high.

RATE OF USE
Oilseed rapeapply CUSTODIA at 1.0 L/ha in 200-300 L water /ha.
Field beans - apply CUSTODIA at 1.0 L/ha in 160-300 L water/ha.
Use the higher water volume in denser crops.

MIXING AND SPRAYING
Half-fill the spray tank with clean water and begin agitation. Add the required quantity of CUSTODIA and add the remainder of the water. Continue agitation until spraying is completed. Wash out sprayer thoroughly after use. Apply as a medium spray as defined by BCPC.
