An emulsifiable concentrate containing 150 g/L difenoconazole (15% w/w) and 150 g/L propiconazole (15% w/w). A systemic fungicide for use on all varieties of sugar beet and fodder beet.

GENERAL INFORMATION
DIFURE PRO is a systemic fungicide containing difenoconazole and propiconazole which are active ingredients belonging to the chemical family of triazoles (FRAC code 3) and is used on fodder and sugar beet. DIFURE PRO is aimed at controlling ramularia (Ramularia beticola), rust (Uromyces betae), powdery mildew (Erysiphe betae, E. polygoni) and cercospora (Cercospora beticola). DIFURE PRO quickly penetrates into the beet leaves and protects them for several weeks.

RESTRICTIONS/WARNINGS
Do not apply before BBCH 40 (crop cover complete: leaves cover 100% of ground). Fodder beet treated with DIFURE PRO must not be grazed by livestock or cut for fodder until at least 21 days after the last application.
This product must not be applied via hand-held equipment.

SPRAY TIMING
Apply DIFURE PRO at 0.6 L/ha at the first signs of the disease, before the disease becomes established. DIFURE PRO gives prolonged protection from re-infection, but a second application can be applied where crops are at risk from later attacks. Respect a minimum application interval of 14 days between applications.

WATER VOLUMES
Apply DIFURE PRO in a recommended 200 litres of water per hectare. Use a higher volume of water, 200-300 litres per hectare for the treatment of dense crops to ensure a good penetration to the lower leaves and stem bases.
A MEDIUM quality spray is preferred for application of DIFURE PRO, as defined by the British Crop Protection Council. A spray pressure of 2-3 bar is recommended.

MIXING AND APPLICATION
Make sure the sprayer is clean and set to give an even application at the correct volume. Pour DIFURE PRO into the spray tank half-filled with water. Fill the tank with the required amount of water. Spray immediately after the preparation of the spray solution. Keep on mixing during filling and spraying.
Thoroughly wash all spray equipment with water immediately after use.

COMPATIBILITY
The mixtures should be performed in accordance with the relevant regulations and the official recommendations of good agricultural practices. RESISTANCE
Both active ingredients in DIFURE PRO are Sterol Biosynthesis Inhibitors (SBI). Use DIFURE PRO as part of an Integrated Crop Management (ICM) strategy incorporating other methods of control, including where appropriate other fungicides with a different mode of action. You must not apply more than two foliar applications of products containing Sterol Biosynthesis Inhibitors to any sugar beet crop. Disease control may be reduced if strains of pathogens less sensitive to DIFURE PRO develop. Users should refer to current FRAG-UK guidelines for SBI compounds.
