DIRECTIONS FOR USE
IMPORTANT
This information is authorised as part of the Product Label. All instructions within this section must be read carefully in order to obtain safe and successful use of this product.

Resistance
FEZAN PLUS contains a DMI fungicide. Resistance to some DMI fungicides has been identified in Septoria leaf blotch (Mycosphaerella graminicola), which may seriously affect the performance of some products. For further advice on resistance management in DMI’s, contact your agronomist or specialist advisor, and visit the Fungicide Resistance Action Group (FRAG)-UK website.
As part of a resistance management strategy non-chemical control measures, including the selection of resistant varieties, should be considered. Multiple applications of DMI fungicides made to the same crop to control diseases such as Septoria leaf blotch and Powdery mildew should be avoided. Where additional fungicide treatments are required to control disease throughout the season, products with a different (non-DMI) mode of action should be selected.
Consult processor before using on crops grown for processing.

Diseases Controlled
FEZAN PLUS is intended for the use as a spray on Wheat (Winter) for protection and control of a range of wheat diseases including Septoria Leaf Blotch, Fusarium Ear Blight and Sooty Moulds.
FEZAN PLUS is a mixture of fungicide active ingredients with different characteristics, combining the systemic protective, action of tebuconazole with the protectant activity of chlorothalonil.

Crop Specific Information
All varieties of Winter Wheat may be treated with FEZAN PLUS up to the end of flowering (BBCH 69).
DOSE: Apply FEZAN PLUS at 3.0 L/hectare in 200-400 litres of water per hectare. Apply as a MEDIUM quality spray as defined in the BCPC system.
Maximum total dose per crop; 6.0 l/ha.
A minimum of 7 days must be observed between applications.
TIMING: Moderate control of Septoria Leaf Blotch;
When Septoria Leaf Blotch is present at high levels early in the spring, and where the risk of disease development is high (e.g on susceptible varieties), an early treatment (e.g at the start of stem elongation) may be beneficial in reducing the spread and development of the disease.
A programme of two treatments applied during stem elongation (e.g. when leaf 3 is emerged) and at flag leaf emerged (e.g. flag leaf fully unrolled) will provide the best protection of the upper leaves and the ear. Apply when disease is active but before it appears on the upper leaves. Applications made when foliar symptoms are already present on the upper leaves will be less effective.
Control of Fusarium Ear Blight and Sooty Moulds;
Apply FEZAN PLUS shortly after ear emergence (BBCH 59-69.
