A high concentration selective phenoxy herbicide for control of a wide range of annual and perennial broad-leaved weeds.
A soluble concentrate containing 600 g/l (46.3% w/w) of mecoprop-p and 84 g/l (6.5% w/w) of dicamba as potassium salts.

Crops:
FOUNDATION may be used in Winter and Spring Wheat, Winter and Spring Barley, Winter and Spring Oats and established Grassland.

Restrictions:
The total amount of mecoprop-p applied to an individual crop, or in a single year in the case of a perennial crop, must not exceed the maximum total dose of mecoprop-p approved for application to that crop by any single mecoprop-p containing product.
Do not spray Cereals which have been, or are to be, undersown. Clovers or other Legumes may be killed or severely checked by FOUNDATION.
Spray during good growing conditions, preferably in warm, moist weather.
Avoid spraying in extreme conditions, e.g. in cold, frosty or windy weather, or when rain is expected, or in drought.
Do not roll or harrow crops within a week of spraying.
Overlapping spray swathes should be avoided.
Avoid drift onto all broad-leaved plants outside the target area.

Winter and Spring Cereals
Timing:
Spray FOUNDATION in the spring from the five fully expanded leaf stage, but before the first node detectable stage. Under some conditions temporary prostration of the crop may occur after spraying. The crop will soon recover and grow away normally.
Do not spray FOUNDATION late in the season (beyond the recommended stage) especially if the crop is under stress (e.g. drought conditions), and particularly when early maturing Winter Wheat varieties are grown.

Rate of Application:
Apply FOUNDATION at 1.25 litres per hectare. A lower rate of 1 litre per hectare may be used in Spring Cereals only where weeds are at the cotyledon to two expanded true leaf stage.

Water Volume:
Use 100-500 litres of water per hectare. A minimum of 200 litres per hectare is recommended to ensure good coverage of weed if the crop is dense or problem weeds are at advanced states of growth.

Mixing and Spraying:
Make sure the sprayer is set to give an even application at the correct volume.
Fill the spray tank with half the required volume of clean water and start agitation. Add the required amount of FOUNDATION and continue agitation whilst adding the rest of the water.
Agitate the mixture thoroughly before use and continue agitation during spraying.
USE IMMEDIATELY following dilution. DO NOT allow diluted product to stand before use. Thoroughly wash all spraying equipment immediately after use.
