DIRECTIONS FOR USE

IMPORTANT: This leaflet is approved as part of the Product Label. All instructions on this leaflet and on the label should be read carefully in order to obtain successful results from the use of this product.

DISEASES CONTROLLED
Luna Privilege is a broad-spectrum fungicide which contains fluopyram (a pyridylethylamide active substance with a SDHI mode of action, FRAC code 7). It can be used to control powdery mildew (Podosphaera leucotricha) in apples and pears.

CROP SPECIFIC INFORMATION
Apple and Pear
Podosphaera leucotricha: maximum 3 applications as a preventative fungicide, applied between BBCH55 (flower buds visible but still closed) to BBCH89 (fruit ripe for consumption: fruit have typical taste and firmness) at 0.075 L/ha/mCH (where a maximum 3 metre treated canopy height* is observed) equivalent to a maximum of 0.225 L/ha in 300–1500 litres water/ha. Applications should be carried out with a minimum interval of 8 days and a 14 day PHI must be observed.
The product dose should be reduced for smaller trees as described below:
For trees with a crop canopy height* of 3 m or more: use 0.225 L/ha
For trees with a crop canopy height* of 2 m: use 0.15 L/ha
For trees with a crop canopy height* of 1 m: use 0.075 L/ha
For trees with a crop canopy height* of 1-2 m or 2-3 m: Use an intermediate rate between those given above.
* Crop Canopy Height (CH) is the average tree height in the orchard (soil to the top of the crown) minus the average trunk height in the orchard (soil to first main branch).

Mixing and Spraying
Add the required quantity of Luna Privilege to the half-filled spray tank with the agitation system in operation, and fill to the required level. Continue agitation at all times during spraying and stoppages until tank is completely empty. Spray immediately after mixing.
On emptying the container, rinse container thoroughly by using an integrated pressure rinsing device or manually rinsing three times. Add washings to sprayer at time of filling and dispose of container safely.
Spray Quality: MEDIUM/FINE (as defined by BCPC).
After application, completely drain spray equipment. Thoroughly rinse sprayer and flush the hoses, boom and nozzles with clean water. Dispose of waste rinse water safely
