METFIN 90 is a broad-spectrum fungicide to be used on wheat (winter and spring), durum wheat, barley (winter and spring), triticale, rye, oilseed rape, peas (combining and vining), field beans and lupins. When applied to oilseed rape in the spring, METFIN 90 can provide plant growth regulation in the form of a reduction in crop height.

GENERAL INFORMATION
METFIN 90 contains metconazole, a broad-spectrum DMI fungicide from the triazole family, with a proved efficacy against many fungal diseases.
METFIN 90 is approved for application to wheat (winter and spring), durum wheat, barley (winter and spring), triticale, rye, oilseed rape, peas (combining and vining), field beans and lupins. When applied to oilseed rape in the spring, METFIN 90 can provide plant growth regulation in the form of a reduction in crop height.

CROP SPECIFIC INFORMATION
Cereals
Apply METFIN 90 (max 2 applications per crop with a minimum spray interval of 21 days) at a rate of 1 L/ha, in a min water volume of 200 L/ha (maximum 300 L/ha).
Apply at earliest stage of disease development, up to and including stage GS 71 (milky ripe stage).
Oilseed rape
Before the application, ensure the crop is free from any stress caused by agronomic and/or environment effects.
Apply METFIN 90 (max 2 applications per crop with a minimum spray interval of 14 days) at a rate of 0.8 L/ha, in a min water volume of 200 L/ha (maximum 400 L/ha).
Apply during stem extension in the spring, once the oilseed rape crop is actively growing (GS 31-51).
When applied in the spring, METFIN 90 can reduce crop height.
Peas – combining and vining
Apply METFIN 90 (max 2 applications per crop with a minimum spray interval of 14 days) at a rate of 0.8 L/ha, in a min water volume of 200 L/ha (maximum 400 L/ha).
Apply at the flowering start. Latest time of application is 14 days before harvest.
Field beans and lupins
Apply METFIN 90 (max 2 applications per crop with a minimum spray interval of 14 days) at a rate of 0.8 L/ha, in a min water volume of 200 L/ha (maximum 400 L/ha).
Apply at the beginning of petal fall. Latest time of application is 14 days before harvest.

MIXING AND SPRAYING
Application Equipment: conventional crop spraying equipment. No aerial application.
Sprayer Preparation: Ensure that the sprayer is clean and correctly calibrated. Apply at the water volumes appropriate for the density of the crop, using a medium quality spray (as defined by BCPC guidelines) to guarantee a good coverage.
Spray Pressure: Apply as a MEDIUM spray.
Mixing: Three quarters fill the tank with water and start the agitation. To ensure a thorough mixing, invert the container several times before opening. Add the required quantity of product to the spray tank. Fill up the tank with water and continue agitation until spraying is completed. Do not leave the spray liquid in the sprayer for prolonged periods. Therefore, never prepare more spray than required.
Tank cleaning: Rinse container thoroughly by using an integrated pressure rinsing device or manually rinsing three times. Dispose of container safely.
