DIRECTIONS FOR USE
IMPORTANT: This information is approved as part of the Product Label. All instructions within this section must be read carefully in order to obtain safe and successful use of this product.

RESTRICTIONS
AVOID SPRAYING when wind would cause drift and damage to neighbouring crops.
AVOID DRIFT onto all broadleaved plants outside the target area.
DO NOT roll or harrow crops within seven days before or after spraying.
ALWAYS clean out utensils and spraying equipment after use.

WEEDS CONTROLLED
Weed control in cereals MIRCAM ULTRA will control the following weed species at the rates and growth stages indicated above.

CROP SPECIFIC INFORMATION
Winter barley, oats, rye and wheat
Spray in the spring when the crop has fully tillered and is at the leaf sheath erect stage but before the first node is detectable (GS 31).
Spring barley, oats, rye and wheat
Spray from when the crop has five leaves unfolded but before the first node is detectable (GS 31).
Barley, oats, rye and wheat undersown with grass
Spray from when grasses have two–three leaves provided the cereal crop is at the correct growth stage.
DO NOT SPRAY any cereal crop once the first node is detectable on the main stem (GS 31).
DO NOT SPRAY cereals undersown with clovers, lucerne, peas or beans.
Permanent grassland and rotational grassland
Spray from when the grass has at least three leaves, usually from spring through to mid summer. Do not spray grassland where clovers or other legumes are an important constituent of the sward as they will be killed of severely checked.
Grass seed crops
Spray from the two–three leaf stage of the grass, but four–six weeks before head emergence. Around the base of apple and pear trees Post blossom, late May and July. Apply around trees and avoid drift onto tree foliage.

RATE OF USE
Winter and spring barley, oats, rye and wheat, undersown cereals, permanent grassland, rotational grassland, grass seed crops and orchards
Use 4.5 litres in a minimum 120 litres of water per hectare. Apply as a medium quality spray (as defined by BCPC). A spray pressure of two–three bar is recommended.

MIXING
Make sure the spraying machine has been properly cleaned from any previous use. Half fill the spray tank with clean water and start agitation. Pour in the required amount of MIRCAM ULTRA. Add the remainder of water and continue agitation until spraying is completed. If the machine has stopped for any time agitate thoroughly before restarting spraying. Wash the equipment thoroughly immediately after use. Fill the tank with clean water and leave overnight. Spray out before storage or using other products. Traces of the product may cause damage to susceptible crops sprayed later.

SPRAYING CONDITIONS
For best results spray in good growing conditions when the cereal crops are actively growing and the weeds are in the seedling stage. Poor crop competition may result in reduced weed control. Rain within twelve hours may affect results, as may very cold or drought conditions.

DRIFT
DO NOT spray in windy or very still conditions. Avoid drift onto all broadleaved plants outside the target area. Spray drift must be avoided especially near susceptible crops such as tomatoes, lettuce, oilseed rape, vegetables, turnips, swedes, sugar beet, peas, glasshouse crops, fruit and ornamentals
