DIRECTIONS FOR USE
RESTRICTIONS AND WARNINGS
Do not apply to crops suffering from stress due to lime or trace element deficiency, or drought, frost or pest damage.
Do not apply to crops suffering from damage due to an earlier herbicide treatment.
Do not apply when temperatures exceed 21ºC or in strong sunlight. If treatment is essential, delay spraying until the temperature falls and light intensity reduces.
Do not apply POWERTWIN with any insecticide or adjuvant (other than Fyzol 11E or other specified adjuvants).
An interval of at least 7 days should elapse before or after application of broad-leaved herbicides or graminicides. An interval of at least 5 days must elapse between applications of POWERTWIN.

CROP SPECIFIC INFORMATION
All varieties of sugar beet, fodder beet and mangels may be treated.

Timing
The first POWERTWIN plus Fyzol 11E (or other specified adjuvants) low volume application should be made when the majority of crop plants have reached the fully expanded true leaf stage. The earliest germinating weeds should not be larger than the fully expanded cotyledon stage at the time of spraying. Further POWERTWIN  plus Fyzol 11E (or other specified adjuvants) low volume sprays must be applied as each new flush of weeds reaches the cotyledon stage.
Successful results from a low volume programme are achieved by applying each spray when the previous one is still showing an effect on the weeds.
A minimum of 5 days must elapse between treatments.

Rate of Application
From the fully expanded true leaf stage use 1.3 litres POWERTWIN per hectare in 80-100 litres of water per hectare, followed by 1.3 litres/ha for all subsequent treatments. Add Fyzol 11E or other specified adjuvants (0.5 litres per hectare at the first application followed by 1.0 litres per hectare for all subsequent treatments).

Succeeding crops
Beet crops may be sown at any time following the use of POWERTWIN. Three months must elapse before any other crop is sown, and mould-board ploughing to a depth of 15 cm must precede seedbed preparation.

MIXING AND APPLICATION
Add the required quantity of POWERTWIN plus Fyzol 11E (or other specified adjuvants) to a quarter-filled spray tank with continuous agitation, then add the remaining volume of water. Continue agitation during spraying.
Ensure that all spraying equipment is thoroughly washed out immediately after use. Use a recognised tank cleaner.
Use a FINE spray as defined by the BCPC system. Avoid spray drift.

COMPATIBILITY
For improved control and residual activity SKATER (MAPP 12857) may be added to POWERTWIN applications in a low post-emergence programme.
Please contact your supplier or Makhteshim-Agan UK for up to date information on compatibility. Do not apply POWERTWIN ® with any insecticide or adjuvant (other than Fyzol 11E, or NEWMAN Cropspray 11E, or SM-99, or PRIMA, or Toil, or Phase II, or Hammer, or Abacus or Headland Fortune.
