For the control of seed-borne diseases in linseed and flax.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
IMPORTANT: This leaflet is approved as part of the label. All instructions on this leaflet and on the label should be read carefully in order to obtain successful results from the use of this product. Prelude 20LF is a liquid seed treatment for use on flax and linseed. It controls the important seedborne diseases of both linseed and flax namely Alternaria linicola, Fusarium avenaceum, Botrytis cinerea, Phoma exigua and Colletotrichum lini. It also contains a red dye for easy identification of treated seed.

1. Restrictions/Warnings
Prelude 20LF should not be mixed with any other seed treatment products except as recommended by Agrichem (International) Limited. It should never be diluted with water.
In order to ensure free flowing seed through the seed drill, Prelude 20LF should always be used in conjunction with an inert seed flow aid, as supplied by Agrichem (International) Limited. This operation is most satisfactorily carried out in the seed plant. For further details contact Agrichem (International) Limited.
It is important to achieve good even coverage on the seed to obtain reliable disease control.
Treatment with Prelude 20 LF alters the flow of seed through the drill. It is important to check drill calibration before drilling Prelude 20LF treated seed.
Seed treated with Prelude 20LF must be used within a season of treatment. Do not re-use this container for any other purpose.
LABEL TREATED SEED with the appropriate precautions using printed sacks, labels or bag tags. Prelude 20LF has been tested on a wide range of linseed and flax varieties. For further information and before the treatment of a new variety consult with Agrichem (International) Limited for the approval status of any new recommendations. Do not treat the linseed varieties Abby, Agriace, Bolas, Karen, Laura, Linda, Mikael, Moonraker or Norlin.
Water should not be used to clean machinery. Use methylated spirits to clean any residual Prelude 20LF. A final rinse with water and detergent should be carried out before using another seed treatment.

2. Disease Control
Prelude 20 LF is a liquid seed treatment for use on flax and linseed. It controls the important seedborne diseases of both linseed and flax namely Alternaria linicola, Fusarium avenaceum, Botrytis cinerea, Phoma exigua and Colletotrichum lini.

2.1 Resistance Management
Certain diseases may develop resistance to Agrichem (International) Limited products. Since such circumstances are beyond our control, Agrichem (International) Limited will be under no liability for any loss or damage whatsoever.

3. Crops
Prelude 20 LF is a liquid seed treatment for use on flax and linseed. It also contains a red dye for easy identification of treated seed.

3.1 Time of Application
Prelude 20 LF can be used through most seed treatment machines, from automated applicators treating large quantities to small quantities in batch-type machines. However, it is important to achieve good even coverage on the seed to obtain reliable disease control.

3.2 Rate of Application
2 Litres product per tonne seed In order to ensure free flowing seed through the seed drill, Prelude 20LF should always be used in conjunction with an INERT SEED FLOW AID, as supplied by Agrichem (International) Limited. This operation is most satisfactorily carried out in the seed plant. For further details contact Agrichem (International) Limited

Application
Prelude 20LF should be applied evenly to ensure adequate control of seed-borne diseases.
It should always be used in conjunction with a SEED FLOW AID.
Prelude 20LF can be applied through most types of automated seed treatment machinery which are designed to apply liquids. It has a low electrical conductivity. Machines which depend on electrical conductivity to control application volumes should be carefully calibrated prior to treatment to ensure consistent results. Consult Agrichem, or your machinery supplier for further information.
Prelude 20LF should NOT be mixed with any other seed treatment products except on instruction by Agrichem, and should never be diluted with water.
In order to ensure free flowing seed through the seed drill Prelude 20LF should be used in conjunction with INERT SEED FLOW AID. This is best carried out in the seed plant during the treatment process, although it can be applied at any time prior to drilling.
For best distribution of the powder, apply using a powder applicator attachment on the seed treatment machine. It is however, possible to apply the powder to treated seed in the drill hopper. The application rate of SEED FLOW AID should NOT be exceeded as this may impede seed flow during drilling. SEPIRET POLYMER COATING may also be used with Prelude 20LF to aid drill flow. For further information on the supply and use of Sepiret, contact Agrichem or your seed supplier.
Machinery Cleaning. Prelude 20LF is a solvent-based product. It is only partially miscible with water, therefore water should NOT be used to clean machines. Machinery should be thoroughly cleaned following treatment by flushing with methylated spirits, or another appropriate solvent such as isopropyl alcohol. A final rinse with water and detergent should be carried out before using any other treatment.
Seed treated with Prelude 20LF must be used within a season of treatment.
Prelude 20LF has been tested on a wide range of linseed and flax varieties. For further information and before the treatment of a new variety contact Agrichem (International) Limited via email on info@agrichem.co.uk or by telephone on 01733 204019. Do not treat the linseed varieties Abby, Agriace, Bolas, Karen, Laura, Linda, Mikael, Moonraker or Norlin.
