A fungicide for use against Botrytis in wine grapes, protected tomatoes, aubergines, peppers, cucumbers and courgettes, and outdoor and protected strawberries. A water dispersible granule formulation containing 500g/kg fenpyrazamine.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
IMPORTANT: This information is approved as part of the Product Label. All instructions within this section must be read carefully in order to obtain safe and successful use of this product.
PROLECTUS is a non-systemic fungicide which provides moderate control of grey mould (Botrytis cinerea) in wine grapes, protected crops of tomatoes, aubergines, peppers, cucumbers and courgettes, and some control of grey mould in outdoor and protected strawberries.

Warnings
It is important to achieve accurate and complete coverage of crops for effective disease control. AVOID SPRAY DRIFT OUTSIDE THE TARGET AREA CONSULT PROCESSORS BEFORE USE ON CROPS INTENDED FOR PROCESSING

Resistance Management
PROLECTUS contains fenpyrazamine, which is a FRAC group 17 ergosterol biosynthesis inhibitor. PROLECTUS can be sprayed as part of a programme of sprays, but to prevent or limit the development of Botrytis strains less sensitive to the product, applications of PROLECTUS should not be made consecutively and should be used in alternation with botryticide products which have a different mode of action. No more than a third of the intended botryticide applications made per crop, per year, should contain 3-keto reductase (FRAC code 17) fungicides.

Crop Specific Information
Outdoor and protected strawberries and protected tomatoes, aubergines, peppers, cucumbers and courgettes
Apply 120g PROLECTUS in 100 litres of water. Use a sufficient water volume to obtain complete crop coverage, but do not exceed the maximum dose of 1.2 kg product/ha. Apply to run-off.

A programme of fungicide sprays will normally be required for full control of grey mould. PROLECTUS should be sequenced with products of a different mode of action. See Resistance Management section. The impact of PROLECTUS on strawberry yield quality has not been fully established.

Timing
Apply PROLECTUS from 1st flower open stage until fruits are starting to show a ripe appearance. PROLECTUS can be sprayed until 1 day before harvest.

Wine Grapes
Apply PROLECTUS at 1.2kg/ha in a water rate of 300 to 1000L per hectare. Use the higher water volumes where necessary to achieve good coverage. PROLECTUS should be sequenced with products with a different mode of action. See Resistance Management Section.

Timing
Apply PROLECTUS from the start of flowering until berries start to ripen. PROLECTUS can be sprayed until 14 days before harvest.

Mixing and spraying
Apply as a FINE-MEDIUM spray, as defined by the BCPC. Half fill the tank with clean water and start agitation. Add the required amount of PROLECTUS to the spray tank while re-circulating. Add the remainder of the water and continue agitation until spraying complete. On emptying the container, rinse container thoroughly by rinsing three times. Add washings to the spray tank at time of filling. Wash out sprayer thoroughly after use. Dispose of container safely.
