IMPORTANT: This information is approved as part of the Product Label. All instructions of this section must be carefully observed in order to obtain safe and successful use of this product.

GENERAL INFORMATION
PROTEFIN is a mixture of a triazolinthione and triazole fungicide to be used on wheat, winter rye, barley, oilseed rape and oats for the control of a wide range of fungal diseases.

CROP SPECIFIC INFORMATION
APPLICATION TIMING
Cereals
Apply PROTEFIN at a rate of 1 L/ha, in a water volume of 100-400 L/ha. A maximum of 2 applications per crop is permitted and a minimum spray interval of 21 days must be observed. The maximum total dose per crop is 2 L/ha.
On wheat and rye, apply up to and including end of flowering (BBCH 69). On barley and oats, apply up to and including beginning of flowering (BBCH 61).

MIXING AND SPRAYING
Application Equipment: conventional crop spraying equipment (tractor-mounted and trailed sprayers).
Sprayer Preparation: Ensure that the sprayer is clean and correctly calibrated. Apply at the water volumes appropriate for the density of the crop, using a medium quality spray (as defined by BCPC guidelines) to guarantee a good coverage.
Spray Pressure: Apply as a MEDIUM spray (2-3 bar).
Mixing: Add the required quantity of PROTEFIN to the half-filled spray tank, while the agitation system is already on.
Then fill to the required level and continue agitation during spraying and stoppages until the tank is completely empty.
Do not leave the spray liquid in the sprayer for prolonged periods. Therefore, never prepare more spray than required.
Thoroughly shake the pack before use. Spray immediately after mixing.
Tank cleaning: Sprayers should be thoroughly cleaned with water and detergent after use, and filters and jets checked for damage and blockages.
