DIRECTIONS FOR USE
IMPORTANT: This information is approved as part of the Product label. All instructions within this section must be read carefully in order to obtain safe and successful use of this product. Restrictions: Do not treat tomato (seed), pepper (seed) or aubergine (seed). Seed to be treated should be of satisfactory quality and moisture content. Treated seed should not be stored from one season to another, and should be treated as near to drilling date as possible. Following Crops: Any crop may be sown after a crop sown with seed treated with THYRAM PLUS.

APPLICATION
THYRAM PLUS can be applied through most types of seed treatment machinery, from automated, continuous flow machines, to smaller batch treating apparatus. It is a ready to use, flowable formulation which must be co-applied with water in order to ensure even loading. However as stated below, small quantities of seed may be treated using a one to one dilution with water.

Thyram Plus is a flowable pink formulation which can be used on a wide range of seed types, including peas and beans, maize, agricultural grass seeds and many vegetables, (for the exact crop seeds that can be treated see the section on Product details or the label).
Thyram Plus should be applied evenly to the seed surface so as to achieve most satisfactory seed protection.
Thyram Plus can be applied through most types of seed treatment machinery, from automated, continuous flow machines, to smaller batch treating apparatus. It is a ready to use, flowable formulation, but for more even application it is necessary to dilute with up to an equal volume of water. The dilute solution should be prepared immediately prior to application, and gentle agitation maintained in the mixing tank. Once diluted with water the mixture must be agitated at frequent intervals until used up. Seed treated in this fashion may require drying.
However, small quantities of seed may be treated using a one to one dilution with water.

CAUTION: Thyram Plus diluted with water should not be stored without agitation as some settling out of product may occur and in order to prevent this, agitation must be maintained during use. Seed treated in this fashion may require drying.

Thyram Plus is normally used as a concentrate. Ensure the product is free flowing before use and co-apply it with an equal volume of water. AGITATE THE CONTAINER THOROUGHLY before each use, e.g. by rolling on a level floor. Ensure that mechanical handling equipment is used when placing the container on its side and returning it to the upright position.

THYRAM PLUS should be preferably be co-applied with an equal quantity of water, but where the quantities of seed to be treated are small it may be diluted one to one with water before use. Following dilution the mixture should be thoroughly agitated to ensure an even dispersion and the mixture should be used as quickly as possible. Only mix sufficient material for one day's work and agitate frequently during the period of use. CAUTION: Material diluted with water should not be stored without agitation as some settling out of product may occur. If the product is to be applied diluted agitation must be maintained during use. Treated seed may require drying. Shake well before use.

25L only: Ensure THYRAM PLUS is free flowing before use and co-apply it with an equal volume of water. AGITATE THE CONTAINER THOROUGHLY before each use, eg. by rolling on a level floor. Ensure that mechanical handling equipment is used when placing container on its side and returning it to the upright position. WARNING: Use mechanical assistance at all times when handling containers containing more than 20 litres product.

CROP SPECIFIC INFORMATION:
THYRAM PLUS can be used as a seed treatment on the following crop seeds: Combining pea, vining pea, edible podded pea, field bean, broad bean, dwarf French bean, runner beanA, forage maize, soya bean, bulb onion, salad onion, leeks, radish, cauliflower, cabbage, turnip, oilseed rape and agricultural grass. For the maximum individual dose for each seed type see the IMPORTANT INFORMATION box.

RESTRICTION
THYRAM PLUS should be applied to Soya bean seeds that are to be harvested as a mature pulse crop only. Evidence of effectiveness and crop safety on soya bean is limited. When applying to onion (salad or bulb) seed or leek seed the preferred method of application is by Film Coating machine. When applying by other machine types it may be difficult to achieve satisfactory seed to seed distribution. It is essential to apply the treatment as a very fine spray or mist onto the continuously moving seed.
