Dose
Maximum individual dose: 2.0 l/ha.
Maximum total dose: 4.0 l/ha.
Timing
For optimum control spray in the spring as soon as disease appears of if climatic conditions indicate that infection is probable. The latest time of application in winter wheat is before the beginning of anthesis (GS 61) and in winter barley it is before emergence of inflorescence completed (GS 59).
Under increasing disease pressure a second application of TIMPANI may be required.
Applications made after the flag leaf just visible stage may only result in reduction of the disease. The activity of this product against Septoria tritici (leaf spot) may be reduced in the presence of serious mildew infection.
Use under curative situations (when disease is already well established and actively moving up the plant) must be avoided.

FUNGICIDE RESISTANCE
TIMPANI contains a DMI fungicide. Resistance to some DMI fungicides has been identified in Septoria leaf blotch (Mycosphaerella graminicola) which may seriously affect the performance of some products. For further advice on resistance management in DMI’s, contact your agronomist or specialist advisor, and visit the FRAG-UK website.
