Description

A selective herbicide for control of broad-leaved weeds.

Crops

Winter and spring wheat, barley, oats and rye, permanent grassland, rotational grass and rotational grass seed crops, amenity grassland, managed amenity turf and around apple and pear trees.

Introduction

Applications of Headland Trinity may be made to all commercially available varieties of winter and spring wheat, barley, oats and rye, permanent grassland, rotational grassland and grass seed crops. It may also be used for weed control in amenity grassland and managed amenity turf and around apple and pear trees. Do not use Headland Trinity on cereals which have been or are to be undersown with clovers, lucerne, peas or beans.
For best results, spray in good growing conditions when cereal crops are actively growing and the weeds are at the seedling stage. Poor crop competition may result in reduced weed control. Rain within 12 hours may affect results, as may very cold or drought conditions.
Headland Trinity is active at low concentrations. Do not spray in windy conditions or in very still conditions as the spray drift may cause damage to neighbouring crops. The following crops are particularly susceptible: beet, brassicas (e.g. turnip, swede, oilseed rape) and market garden crops including lettuce, tomatoes, fruit and vines.

Cautions

DO NOT spray crops which are undersown with clovers, lucerne, peas or beans.
AVOID SPRAYING when wind could cause drift and damage to neighbouring crops.
AVOID DRIFT onto all broad-leaved plants outside the target area.
DO NOT roll or harrow crops within 7 days before or after spraying KEEP LIVESTOCK OUT of treated areas for at least 2 weeks and until the foliage of any poisonous weeds such as Ragwort has died and become unpalatable.

Mixing and Application

Make sure the sprayer has been thoroughly cleaned after any previous use. Fill the tank with half the required amount of clean water and start agitation. Add the required amount of Headland Trinity and continue agitation whilst adding the rest of the water.
Agitate the mixture thoroughly before use and during spraying. If the machine has stopped for any time, re-agitate thoroughly before restarting spraying. Wash the equipment out thoroughly after use, fill with clean water and leave overnight. Spray out before storage or using other products. Traces of the product may cause damage to susceptible crops sprayed later on.
