DIRECTIONS FOR USE
RESTRICTIONS
Operator Protection
VOLLEY may cause a skin reaction if skin is exposed.
This is generally transient and only affects a small number of sensitive people. To avoid this please be aware of the following:
Avoid spray drift.
Wash all protective clothing after use, avoiding contact with unprotected skin.
Avoid contact of bare skin with treated crops.
If operators have been sensitised through use of VOLLEY, avoid any further use of the product or other fluazinam containing products.
Wash spray equipment after use and avoid touching with unprotected skin.

Resistance
Disease control may be reduced if strains of pathogens less sensitive to VOLLEY develop.

Processors
Consult processors before using on crops grown for processing.

DISEASE CONTROL
VOLLEY is used for the control of foliar blight and protection against tuber blight in potatoes.
To avoid the spread of blight you should be aware of the following agronomic practice.
a) Destroy all ground-keepers.
b) Use disease-free seed.
c) Good soil ridging will help avoid spread.
d) Do not allow re-growth of potatoes on dumps.
e) Desiccate the crop prior to harvest to avoid spread when potatoes are lifted.
The crop is at highest risk of disease under warm, humid conditions. Growers should also look out for blight warnings. Location can also affect the disease.
Areas of high potato production and those where climate is warm and humid, have the highest disease incidence, particularly East Anglia, the Fens and the South West.

CROP SPECIFIC INFORMATION
VOLLEY will give good control of disease before it appears. If disease is already well established then control may be reduced.
Rate of Use: 300 or 400 ml of VOLLEY per hectare in 200-500 litres water/ha. Use the higher water volume where crops are dense or under high disease pressure.

Tuber Blight
To protect against tuber blight, apply VOLLEY as recommended above. It is advised to desiccate the crop prior to harvest, especially where disease is present.

MIXING AND APPLICATION
Half fill the spray tank with clean water and begin agitation. Add the recommended amount of VOLLEY, and the remainder of the water. Continue agitation until spraying is complete. Triple rinsing is required after use.
Do not leave spray mixture in the tank for long periods such as during breaks or overnight.
Wash all equipment and personal protective equipment after use, avoiding contact with unprotected skin.
