For the control of Leaf Spot and Rush in Peanuts and Control of Target Spot ant Late blight in Potatoes

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

PEANUTS
Disease:
Early Leaf Spot (Cercospora arachidicola), Late Leaf Spot (Cercospora personata), Rust (Puccinia arachides)
State: Qld, NSW, WA only
Rate/ha: 400 to 600 mL
Critical Comments: Apply the first fungicide spray at 4 to 5 weeks after planting or at first sign of infection, whichever is the earliest. Repeat applications of ALTO 100 SL at intervals of up to 14 days.
Rate/ha: 200 mL
Critical Comments: When converting back to chlorothalonil alone following applications of ALTO 100 SL alone, the first chlorothalonil spray in any series should contain 200 mL/ha ALTO 100 SL and should be made 10 days after the last ALTO 100 SL spray.
May be added to the full label rate of chlorothalonil at any stage in the spray schedule for improved control of Leaf Spot and Rust.

POTATOES
Disease: Early Blight or Target Spot (Alternaria solani), Late Blight or Irish Blight (Phytophthora infestans)
State: Qld only
Rate/ha: 160 to 250 mL plus 1.6 to 2.5 L chlorothalonil (500 g/L)
Critical Comments: Use as a protectant program. Commence spraying when conditions favour disease development. For rates below 2 L apply every 7 days. For rates of 2 to 2.5 L apply every 7 to 10 days. Use the higher rates when disease challenge is high.
North Qld: Use a minimum rate of 200 mL of ALTO 100 SL plus 2 L/ha chlorothalonil for all diseases. Use a higher rate if disease challenge is high.

Compatibility
ALTO 100 SL is compatible in tank mixtures with protectant fungicides and most insecticides

Fungicide Resistance Warning
ALTO 100 SL Fungicide is a member of the DMI group of fungicides. For fungicide resistance management the product is a Group 3 fungicide. Some naturally occurring individual fungi resistant to the product and other Group 3 fungicides may exist through normal genetic variability in any fungal population. The resistant individuals can eventually dominate the fungi population if these fungicides are used repeatedly. These resistant fungi will not be controlled by this product or other Group 3 fungicides, thus resulting in a reduction in efficacy and possible yield loss. Since the occurrence of resistant fungi is difficult to detect prior to use, Syngenta Crop Protection Pty Limited accepts no liability for any losses that may result from failure of this product to control resistant fungi.

Resistance Management
DO NOT apply more than 3 consecutive DMI sprays alone, before changing to a fungicide of a different activity group. Apply a maximum of 5 DMI sprays per season.
