Bion 500FS is a selective, systemic compound used for early-season protection against downy mildew in sunflower and sorghum as well as protection of cotton from certain early-season diseases, and nematodes. Bion 500FS induces host plant resistance; it has no direct activity against target pathogens. Bion 500FS exhibits a unique mode of action which mimics the natural systemic activated resistance (SAR) response found in most plant species. It is recommended that Bion 500FS be used in combination with azoxystrobin based fungicide packages for early season protection against pre- and postemergence damping-off. Bion 500FS may be applied in tank mixes or sequentially with other registered seed treatment products.
