RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT: Bolero 15 G is a lipid sythesis inhibition herbicide. Any weed population may contain or develop plants naturally resistant to herbicides in various mode of action classes. Resis- tant biotypes may eventually dominate the weed population if the same class of chemistry/mode of action herbicides are used repeatedly in the same field or in successive years. These resistant biotypes may not be adequately controlled by herbicides in a mode of action class for which resistance has devel- oped. A gradual or total loss of weed control may occur over time. Other resistance mechanisms that are not linked to site of action, such as enhanced metabolism, may also exist. Appropriate resistance management strategies should be followed. If poor performance occurs and cannot be attributed to adverse weather or application conditions, a resis- tant biotype may be present. Contact your local extension specialist or certified crop advisor for additional pesticide resistance management and/or integrated weed management recommendations for specific crops and weed biotypes.
