DIRECTIONS FOR USE
It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
Do not apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area during application. Do not apply this product through any type of irrigation system. . For any requirements specificto your State or Tribe, consult the agency responsible for pesticide regulation.

Directions for Mixing: Fill the spray tank about one-third full of water, start the agitator and pour in the required amount of this product. If other spray materials are to be used with the oil, mix the other materials' thoroughly with the water in the spray tank first, and then add the oil as the filling of the tank is being completed. Do not use in undiluted form.
Important: Spray on warm days in later Winter or early Spring, and before the buds separate into the clusters. Do not spray in freezing weather, or apply strong dosages after the buds have burst to any extent. Do not apply when buds have separated in the clusters. Do not apply within 2 weeks of sulfur spray or within 7 days of captan. Do not use if this spray oil does not emulsify. Correct emulsification is indicated if, when this product is added to the water in the spray tank, a uniform milk-white spray mixture results, provided the spray mixture is being agitated. If the spray mixture, after adding the oil to the spray tank with the agitator running, is not milk-white, do not use the resulting spray or the remainder of this product.
When a gun has been shut off or the outfit stopped for any length of time, spray on the ground for a few moments until the spray appears creamy white. This is desirable also where there are dead ends in the pipe lines of stationary outfits. All the material in stationary outfits should be sprayed out each day. .
APPLES, PEARS: Apple Red Bug, European Fruit Lecanium Scale, San Jose Scale-Apply 2 gallons per 100 gallons of water in the delayed dormant stage. Fruittree Leafroller, Scurfy Scale-Apply 3 gallons per 100 gallons of water in the delayed dormant stage. European Red Mite-Apply 2 gallons per 100 gallons of water in the green tip to delayed dormantstage. Pear Leaf Blister Mite-Apply 3 gallons per 100 gallons of water in the dormant stage. Pear Psylla-Apply 2 gallons per 100 gallons of water in the late dormant stage.
APRICOTS, CHERRIES, NECTARINES, PEACHES, PLUMS, PRUNES-Dormant or Delayed. Dormant:
European Red Mite, San Jose Scale, European Fruit Lecanium Scale, Eggs of Aphids-1 Y2 to 2 gallons per 100 gallons of water in the delayed dormant stage. Terrapin Scale-Use 3 gallons per 100 gallons of water in the delayed dormant stage.
BANANAS: Black Leaf Streak (Mycosphaerel/a fijiensis)-Use 1 Y2 gals. in 6 gals. water per acre as a mist blower application. For better coverage, use 1 to 1 Y2 gals. in 20 to 100 gals. water per acre. Bag fruits or avoid direct spraying on unbagged fruits. Apply every 10 to 15 days during rainy periods or as necessary for disease control.
COFFEE*: For control of Green Scale Insect: Apply SUPERIOR 70 OIL at the rate of 3 to 6 gallons 'per acre in 100 to 300 gallons of spray mixture per acre. Use only water as diluent. Apply when insects appear and treat as necessary at 30 to 60 day intervals. Do not exceed 18 gallons of oil per acre in a growing season. Do not apply, within 30 days of harvest when the berries are handpicked. Oil residue may make picking difficult. Do not apply this product through any type of irrigation system. Phytotoxicity may be affected by the quantity of oil used, vigor of trees and temperature at the time of application.

ORNAMENTALS AND SHADE TREES (Conifers [see note], Holly, Pyracantha, Sycamores, Hawthorn, Flowering Peach, Flowering Cherry, Apple, MagnOlia, Maple, Dogwood, Oak, privet, Birch): Soft Brown Scale, Oyster Shell Scale, Brown Apricot Scale, Black Scale, San Jose Scale, Red Spider Mites and Eggs-1 gallon to 100 gallons of water. Dormant Spray on Deciduous Varieties-2 gallons per 100 gallons. Dormant Spray on Other Varieties-1 gallon per 100 gallons of water. Note: May cause discoloration of Blue Spruce. Do not use in conifers or ferns not tolerant to oil sprays.
