Do not apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area during application. For any requirements specific to your State or Tribe, consult the agency responsible for pesticide regulation.

GENERAL INFORMATION
DIFENOCONAZOLE 16.5% + METALAXYL 3.8% ST is a systemic seed dressing that controls or suppresses certain seed-borne, soil-borne, and fall foliar diseases of wheat.
Metalaxyl provides Pythium damping-off activity and Difenoconazole provides activity on the remaining diseases claimed on this label.
Note: Metalaxyl is a systemic fungicide having a specific mode of action. Metalaxyl could be subject to development of insensitive strains of fungi. Development of insensitivity cannot be predicted. Therefore, Albaugh cannot assume liability for crop damage resulting from insensitive strains of fungi. Consult with your State Agricultural Experiment Station or Extension Service Specialist for guidance and ways to control any possible metalaxyl insensitive strains of fungi which may occur.

MIXING PROCEDURES
Apply DIFENOCONAZOLE 16.5% + METALAXYL 3.8% ST as a water-based slurry through standard slurry or mist-type commercial seed treaters. Prepare a slurry by mixing DIFENOCONAZOLE 16.5% + METALAXYL 3.8% ST in up to 16 fl. oz. of water per 100 lbs. of seed. Mix the slurry thoroughly with the seed to provide uniform coverage. Do not use for at-plant applications involving hopper boxes, seed
boxes, etc.
NOTE: This product does not contain dye and is not covered by an appropriate tolerance, tolerance exemption, or other clearance under the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act. To comply with 40 CFR 153.155, therefore, all seed treated commercially with this product must be colored with an EPA approved dye or colorant of a suitable color to prevent accidental use as food for man or feed for animals.
