General Information:

Evident is a broad-spectrum systemic insecticide that has quick stomach and contact activity. It is effective in controlling stem borer, gall midge, leaf folder, brown plant hopper, white-backed plant hopper (WBPH), green leaf hopper (GLH), thrips, aphids, and whiteflies in various crops.

The active ingredient in Evident is Thiamethoxam 25% WG.

Mode of Action:

Thiamethoxam 25% WG is a broad-spectrum systemic insecticide that has stomach and contact action. It works by inhibiting the nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the central nervous system of insects, leading to paralysis and death.

Application:

Evident should be applied at the recommended dose at the initial stage of infestation. It is advisable to alternate with other groups of insecticides to avoid resistance problems in the long run.

Precautions:

Evident should be kept away from foodstuffs, empty foodstuff containers, and animal food. Avoid contact with mouth, eyes, and skin. Avoid inhalation of the spray mist. Spray in the direction of wind. Wash thoroughly the contaminated clothes and parts of the body after spraying. Do not smoke, drink, eat and chew anything while spraying. Wear full protective clothing while mixing and spraying.
