Product Description

Fenny (NACL Industries) Bifenthrin 10% EC is a broad-spectrum pyrethroid insecticide that effectively controls a wide range of sucking and chewing insects, including termites, whiteflies, mealybugs, and aphids, in various crops, including fruits, vegetables, ornamentals, and turfgrass. It contains 10% bifenthrin as its active ingredient and is an emulsifiable concentrate (EC) formulation. It is easy to mix with water and can be applied to various crops as a foliar spray or soil drench.

Mode of Action

Bifenthrin is a pyrethroid insecticide that disrupts the nervous system of insects. It binds to voltage-gated sodium channels, interfering with the transmission of nerve impulses, leading to paralysis and death. Bifenthrin also has contact and stomach action, meaning it is effective when insects come into contact with the treated surface or ingest it.

Application Instructions

Fenny can be applied as a foliar spray or soil drench, depending on the target pest and the crop being treated. For foliar spray applications, mix the required amount of Fenny with water in a sprayer and apply the solution evenly to the affected area, ensuring that the foliage of the plants is thoroughly wetted. For soil drench applications, mix the required amount of Fenny with water and apply the solution around the base of the plants, ensuring that the soil is thoroughly drenched.

Precautions

  • Do not apply Fenny to stressed or damaged plants.
  • Do not apply Fenny to crops that are wet.
  • Wait at least 21 days after applying Fenny before harvesting any treated crops.
  • Keep Fenny out of reach of children and pets.
