Fertiliser Application - Granulated Fertiliser:
1. Determining Application Volume:
- Refer to Critical Comments in the Directions for use table for a guide based on common fertiliser application rates.
- Ensure treated fertiliser is dry before sowing with the crop.
- Apply treated fertiliser in a band 3-4 cm below or to the side of the seed in the planting furrow; avoid broadcasting.
- Calibrate the seeder with the treated material to ensure correct rates of fertiliser and fungicide delivery.
- Do not mix seed with treated fertiliser and Whitestar Flutriafol Fungicide SC.
2. Resistance Warning:
- Whitestar Flutriafol SC Fungicide belongs to Group 3 fungicides (DMI group).
- Fungicide resistance management is crucial. Repeated use of Group 3 fungicides may lead to the dominance of resistant fungi, reducing efficacy and causing potential yield loss.
- Resistance should not be assumed without considering application methods, coverage, and timing.
3. Precautions for Re-entry or Re-handling:
- Restrict entry into treated areas until the spray has dried, unless individuals wear appropriate protective clothing.
- Recommended protective clothing includes cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist and chemical-resistant gloves.
- Launder clothing after each day's use.
4. Protection of Wildlife, Fish, Crustaceans, and Environment:
- DO NOT contaminate streams, rivers, or waterways with the chemical or used containers.
5. Storage and Disposal (For 10L):
- Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area. Avoid prolonged storage in direct sunlight.
- Triple or preferably pressure rinse containers before disposal; add rinsings to the spray tank.
- Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site. If recycling, return clean containers to the recycler. If not recycling, bury empty containers below 500mm in a disposal pit.
6. Storage and Disposal (For 110L – 1000L):
- Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area. Avoid prolonged storage in direct sunlight.
- Ensure secure storage to prevent tampering. Broken locks or seals before initial use may compromise product integrity.
- The container is reusable; do not rinse. Empty contents fully into application equipment. Return empty container to Agricultural Product Services Pty Ltd for cleaning, relabelling, and refilling. No other products should be put into it.
