General Information:

Kozuka 2.5 EC is a broad-spectrum insecticide with contact and stomach action, effective for the control of a wide range of pests in various crops, including cotton, rice, vegetables, and fruits. It is formulated with lambda-cyhalothrin, a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide known for its rapid knockdown effect and long residual control.

Mode of Action:

Lambda-cyhalothrin acts on the insect's nervous system, disrupting the sodium channels and causing hyperexcitation, paralysis, and eventual death. It exhibits both contact and stomach action, providing effective control of various insect pests.

Application:

Kozuka 2.5 EC can be applied as a foliar spray using a knapsack sprayer or any other suitable spraying equipment. It is recommended to spray in the early morning or late evening hours when the temperature is cooler and the wind is calm.

Precautions:

• Wear protective clothing, gloves, and goggles while handling and applying Kozuka 2.5 EC.
• Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
• Do not spray near water bodies or areas where bees are active.
• Store the insecticide in a cool, dry place away from food and reach of children.

Phytotoxicity

Precautions and Antidotes
Keep away from foodstuffs, empty foodstuff containers and animal food. Wear protective clothing while spraying. Wash hands and body after spraying. Do not eat or drink or smoke while spraying.

Avoide contact with mouth, eyes and skin. Avoide inhalation the spray mist and spray in the direction of wind. Wash thoroughly the contaminated clothes and part of the body after spraying.

No specific antidote is known, treat symptomatically. Antihistamines may be given to control allergies.
