Maizoate Gold is a broad-spectrum insecticide containing 1.5% emamectin benzoate and 3.5% fipronil as the active ingredients. It is a suspension concentrate (SC) formulation that is recommended for the control of a wide range of lepidopteran and sucking pests in maize, vegetables, and cotton.

Emamectin benzoate is a semi-synthetic avermectin insecticide that acts as a stomach poison and contact poison. It disrupts the GABA receptors in the nervous system of insects, which leads to paralysis and death.

Fipronil is a phenylpyrazole insecticide that acts as a contact and stomach poison. It blocks the gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptors in the nervous system of insects, which leads to paralysis and death.

Maizoate Gold should be applied at the first sign of pest infestation. It can be applied by foliar spray or ground application. The recommended application rate varies depending on the crop and the pest to be controlled.

Maizoate Gold is generally safe for use on crops and non-crop plants, but it is important to follow the label directions carefully to avoid crop injury.
