Mantra G is a systemic insecticide containing 70% Imidacloprid, a neonicotinoid insecticide, effective against a wide range of sucking pests, including aphids, thrips, jassids, whiteflies, and mealybugs. It is available in a water-dispersible granule (WG) formulation and is primarily used for agricultural pest control.

Mode of Action:

Mantra G acts as an agonist at the insect nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChRs), disrupting the insect's nervous system, leading to paralysis and eventually death. It is readily absorbed by plants and translocated throughout the plant tissues, providing systemic protection against sucking pests.

Application:

Mantra G is applied as a foliar spray or soil drench. Foliar sprays target the leaves and stems of plants, while soil drenching allows the insecticide to be absorbed by the roots and distributed throughout the plant.

Mantra G effectively controls a wide range of sucking pests, including:

  • Aphids

  • Thrips

  • Jassids

  • Whiteflies

  • Mealybugs
